Oh, to go back to a time where i shared North's ignorance of the Sonic fandom.
itd be kinda dope if someone started a fundraiser of sorts, to try and help people get back into the hobby after such hardships. everyone pitches in a dollar how many combat patrol boxes could theoretically be given out to get people back into the hobby they were forced into giving up either due to life hardships, or stolen armies, whatever along those lines.
I had most of my stuff taken including my 90s razor back 2 chapters of marines, 2 chaos armies (including my child good marines) guard, imperial and chaos fleets for gothic.
I stoped playing for years after. :-(
@@iceburnard How'd that happen?
@@IHateChrisR I used my models to support a games group. Someone propped the door open to the storage area from a public area. I think the thief made a couple of trips before been caught. They let him leave with one last load. He just tipped my traysbinto a bag because the big citadel cases were to obvious. Lost about 3k worth of stuff.
@@iceburnard you should write to North about it.
It's a bit of a tricky one, it would likely need to be done through and at a club level rather than individual basis. There's a guy at our club that just sees miniatures. By that I mean all his income goes on minis. He is always chasing the latest releases, and if we have an event at the club for a system that he doesn't even play he wants to join in just to get the minis. He then sends message out to some of us in the club at the end of the month if we can lend him £30 or whatever. He gets lifts off some of us to the club but getting even a couple of quid out of him for fuel is hard work, and he'd rather buy you a sandwich (and only once he's been pressed on it) rather than give cash for feul. He is a bit on the spectrum and is woeful with money, any variation in character of him turning up and saying 'can I get some free minis' would be hard to police or deal with.
Sorry, went very specific there, he just came to mind when you mentioned the support for returning players/ hobbyists. A club putting a guy forward that they see as needing support would be ideal, and I think it would be an awesome thing to have #thumbsup
The short video on the black Coats lore was one of the best original worlds i have listened to in a long time. I think it's a VERY well designed game world and could be an awesome story world as well. I really enjoyed it.
I'm subscribed, the notification bell is set to 'all' yet I only see you've posted new hobby nightmares when it comes up on my homepage. No notifications. But it did give me notifications for 'lets build a city.' Oh RUclips, you cheeky lad...
First guy writing stories. Read manly wade wellmen: most his super natural fantasy deals with the monsters of Appalachia . His work is so important to fantasy that he is on the Appendix N. ( Bopks that inspired D&D.)
Read a lot about folk lore for monster idea.
Holy molly listening to my own nightmare is a trip. But yeah being called a pedo was a huge slap in the face. Also yeah, it's true that he was probably a bit of a mischievous kid. Don't blame you for choosing Bo over Fat Foque. Rofl.
Edit: sorry about technical jargon. A lot of my family is highly educated so a lot of the technical stuff is used daily and becomes a habit, I know it can be annoying.
Ayyyyye internet high-five to a fellow Joe Abercrombie fan.
No new ideas, what about lovecraftian cyborg werewolves?
Good video with a nice ending.
I hope Northern gives AoS fourth edition a chance or at least makes a video on it. Like how it ups the stakes on stormcast death. They still do resurrect but now in the lore Stormcasts can get so depressed from it that they have a Lord Terminos perma kill them.
This has always been a part of the lore, GW are just terrible at showing it
Comment if you're also from the Balkans.

@@Dominik189 Hi. I'm a Bulgar barbarian here. Which part of our rotten corner of Europe are you from, bro?
@@vicnedel02 howdy neighbour. Just your friendly neighbourhood war criminal Serbian here.
yeah dude shouldn't be giving out things to random kids... sussy baka
I can understand that view a little but I never really thought of it that way. To me it was something that put ba a smile on a kids face and to me that was worth the one mini or paint pot and brush. My own childhood was a happy one to spite living in, what was at that time, a war torn nation. I saw kids and many of my own school mates and my mother's pupils die during that time. Add to that the fact that I more than likely won't be able to have kids due to my thyroid being half dead. You can sort of understand why, seeing kids be happy has some meaning to me.
@@Dominik189 the saying "never take candy from a stranger" applies here. don't give gifts to other people's children. if you want, and the parent what they think of letting their kid keep the model. but my god. you're the adult, don't go offering gifts to children you don't know. how is that hard to understand? lol its SO selfish
@@drak_darippato be fair At that time I was like 20... So not much of an adult. But I can understand it nowadays. Also I was never raised with "don't take candy from strangers" that wasn't a thing for me. Mostly cause I was a military kid, so anyone I encountered was either an acquaintance of my parents, or a straight up friend of the family. Hell 3/4's of my old home city knew my mother and father and sent congratulations when I was born. At age 5 I strolled the streets alone saying hi to just about everyone and even went grocery shopping to the local market alone.
@@drak_darippa also you have to remember that not all cultures are like yours. Yours has that "don't take candy from strangers" mentality. That was not a thing here until like 2020. Because even in cities most people used to know just about most people.
@@Dominik189 bro its a thing in every culture. you tell your children to avoid strangers. what planet do you live on
