Famous last words is a absolute work of art there's no doubt about it. Every now and then a album comes that stays with you and may only have a handful in your lifetime and can come from any genre, this adds to mine and the last one before this was fever ray in 2009 so been a while 🤣.
I mentioned it above in comparison to Good Kid M.A.A.D City. In that it's an album that is truly unique in a landscape of repetitive dross, with a story to tell throughout. Even the skits continue the plotline like in Good Kid. Obviously very different sonically but it's more of a audio movie than an album. Paint ls on hell of a video in your head.
haha you look almost as unlikely as a cas fan as me, i am an old white guy but i love cas, hes the Martin Scorsese of rap music IMO. I used to have a little meth habit, 2.5 years clean, 'the drugs dont work' really helped me to get over that shitty rough period in my life. You forgot to mention pat earings featured in topboy....and the cool 80's cars in some of his videos, but thanks for the video :)
Personally think it's a weaker Cas track and Cas probably thought so too and didn't suit the narrative of the album. Would be my guess. The track selection and placements are perfect. Haven't seen the like since Good Kid M.A.A.D. City for similar.
