i think you need you really to pay the creators of the franchise, just like collab skins in other games
You need to ask every copyright holder for permission (and include in that request how it will be used, what other IPs you will use it together with etc). And you very likely won’t get it, even if you are prepared to pay a lot for it. Companies guard their intellectual properties.
Shame, it had a lot of potential. Tsk, and its closed to most of the fans in America.

The only Marvel game that shutdown that isn't because it's not profiting is MARVEL AVENGERS ALLIANCE. Like it's still in the Top Facebook games back in 2016.
The reason it was shutdown is because Playdom the company who created MAA was being dissolved by disney which is really sad. So All Playdom games shutdown one by one in 2016 and the last to shutdown was Marvel Avengers Alliance 😔

The problem with the game was it wasn’t available everywhere so no one got to play it, I wanted the game because of cloak and dagger being on there but it was never available in the UK
Came here to say the exact same thing. It's never been available in the Middle East either, and I've been waiting for it to get a wider release.
@@Ameersuhailthey announced along time ago it was nevver getting a global release. Which was dumb, even after tons of people were asking to get a global release. Could also be there werent able to get marvel/disney to give them the rights to release globally
@@keithsnow534 yeah it was probably due to existing exclusive development deals that didn't expire until now. Hell maybe even Netmarble, like they had with Activision for the longest time. I'm super jealous I never got to experience it though.
It was banned in India too, but I played it using vpn, and I must say that it was a legendary experience, this game will forever remain in my hearts😔

When I was living in the Philippines (my home country), I played A LOT of Marvel Super War. When I moved to Canada in 2021, I couldn't play it anymore because as everyone mentioned, it was never globally released. I swear if only they released this globally, it would not have shut down this early.
also I have to say, Mobile Legends was already a popular mobile MOBA in SEA so MSW didn't really stand a chance.
It never had a chance in here. Especially since Mobile Legends was already the top MOBA-Mobile game. Even Wild Rift is struggling right now.

Although MFF has turned into a major P2W game, especially in PvP.

Marvel Super War was fun at first. But the game is just very unbalanced. I'm surprised it lasted 5 years. I tried playing last month and queue takes really long. I knew it was about time it dies.
I remember Marvel Heroes Omega, a game in the H&S style where you could play as lots of superheroes against hordes of monsters, boss instances, all in multiplayer. Lots of possible talents, expensive skins but completely no-ptw. A banger. When it closed, I turned to mmf, but it's never been the same. When's a new hack&slash marvel...

Hey as someone who had played this game, it was good but the PVP rank was intense and waiting for a match up even for PVE took forever.
The game was losing appeal before the announcement because as stated in your video, it was only accessible in South Asian areas including Australia which is where I’m from. For me, I stopped playing due to other factors like the developers introducing new characters with only one skin, and making new skins for characters who already have enough skins like Star-Lord, Mantis, Spider-Man, Dr Strange, etc. the most recent skins became lottery exclusive which was impossible to achieve unless you spent more money in-game. I think the other reason Super War was declining around the same time the developers announced Marvel Rivals was more than coincidence but I wasn’t really surprised by that.
When it came out, I was not that enthusiastic about that game, still an MFF enjoyer. But after a few years of attachment, with friends and community, it's been too early, too soon to say goodbye to a beautiful memory like this. This takes me back to the first Marvel game i played, Marvel's Avengers Academy, not a great time but a fun and collectible barbie show, it also got shut down and sadness is all I can say. MFF was what i have left after Avengers Academy, and now it happen again
Rivals is overwatch, Superwar is smite. Hope this helps to understand the difference between the two
But smite is a third person moba, while super war is a top down moba. WYDM?

but overall, it's good game..

have anyone ever wondered that in MFF we were getting 150 soul of faltine from GBR, after 20% buff now we r getting 165 (my math is a bit meeh but isn't the number is low,, and that remained like that for a loooong time till now)
It's 10% buff not 20%. The 20% buff is for the drop rate

I feel like it'll take a lot for mff to be terminated. The devs have much they need to do to freshen it up and make it even more engaging. I feel that they're on the right track. One step forward two steps back but always moving forward. Let's goooo mff🎉❤
Part of the problem with Marvel game is there is a wide range of characters that could be used, and many fan favorites.
The devs of many games never utilize the full roster but only focus on the favorites, limiting their creativity.
compared to other moba or arpg games the characters aren't necessarily pigeon-holed by design,
the devs have capped their own creativity on the product.
Its a lesson that MFF should've been learning.
Nah, you should've seen Phoenix in this game, really creative, really unique. I think it's quite the opposite, Marvel fans have a lot of favorites and every new release is a expectation if they're going to make it.
My personal favs that were made: Gambit, Polaris, Jean, Cyclops, Professor X, Mysterio and Rocket Raccoon.
The ones that didn't: Doctor Doom, Rogue and Nightcrawler.
Creativity was never a problem in any of the ones they made, I felt like they did a better job than most Marvel Games.

Two reasons, I think there are two reasons.
1. Its competitors are LOL and Mobile Legends. both successful MOBA.
2. The game got too greedy.

Global release is a bigger thing here. This is the second Marvel MOBA to die (Marvel Endtime Arena was the first). What both have in common? Region lock.
@@razorrrhereThis game was already on wind down, meaning they often support but no new stuff. That usually means the dev team had no interest in developing it any further. These games only work if their is regular money being spent in the game. A game can have millions of players. But if no one is buying, it won't last. Games like this are region tested , and depending on how much money it pulls in will be a key factor. If the game isn't pulling in enough money , they will not spend more money on a global release. Global release means a much bigger support team, regulation, and trading fees. Marketing. This all costs money to both set up and then maintain each money. No publisher is just going to give a developer more money if they aren't making a profit on it . Before anyone calls it greed, most people wouldn't give someone money to run a business if they aren't making money back

Last year Marvel Future Revolution, this time Superwars, and probably a couple years later for MFF if NM still greedy and make no better improvement.

Considering WR is mobile League of Legends, than Super War was definitely different. Faster pace, smaller map and you control the map by roaming not by warding. But tbh, I'd like better if it was Marvel League.
This is sad In Asian country they also includes eSports for this game especially in Singapore and they always nerf and buffs the characters, I don't understand why they launch this mostly in Asian country, honestly I enjoy playing this game
You just couldn't compete at MOBA genre in SEA. There's already more popular MOBA there like Mobile Legends, League of Legends Wildrift, AoV, HoK, and many more. The market is too saturated. It should've released globally but even back then, the local SEA server sucks. It laggs so badly.

i still remember when MAA (Marvel Avengers Alliance) shutdown years ago.....it was a sad feeling (i loved that game and put a lot of time into it)
i didn't want to move to another mobile game because i lost trust in them
then dr strange first movie came out and a friend of mines told about a mobile game that was covering the movie and was it the same game i used to play.
i told him that MAA shutdown and he sent me the link to download MFF and said you should try this one out.
and here i am.

I really enjoyed this game😭 I was a Luna, Wave and Mantis main. I stopped playing cause the matching is taking so long. And when I finally wanted to play again, an announcement about it coming to an end was thrown straight to our faces 😭
