hi! I have a 2017 honda odyssey touring elite and I want my android and iphone to connect to it. what should i do and what do I need? will I still be able to use the built in navi system in my odyssey? will I be able to play streaming videos to the back monitor? I hope you answer my questions.. thank you.
@@jamescarlodejesus8780 it should work for your Honda Odyssey 2017 as long as the stereo has dual screen. You will need the VLine VL2 system model that is available here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-hon3.html The model is HON3VL2. The system supports HDMI-OUT and you should be able (also not guaranteed) to play the videos on the back monitor.
Th video linked below also shows the side mirror not working (at 49 seconds in) even though in the comments they state, "yes all factory cameras will keep working." I need to know that function will keep working before ordering. ruclips.net/video/0cS0FjZ8fyQ/видео.html
You can connect it to the VLine for CarPlay / Android Auto and the USB functionality. You need to use the VTOYUSB USB retention cable, available here: gromaudio.com/store/vline_accessories/cable-c-vtoyusb.html

Will this affect the factory DVD system? I noticed the install vehicle does not have it. -2015 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite.

I see at 5:30 you connected the backup camera. But what about the passenger side mirror camera when the right signal is on?

What do you do with all the wires that are now in the glove compartment?
You connect them to the main VLine VL2 system unit.

No, it does not. The RES will keep working.
