    Celiac disease is to be taken seriously, it can effect so many people in so many different ways. It can make you feel very lethargic and tired. You don’t always have weight loss. So glad there’s testing out there.

    Celiacs often gain weight and are sensitive to all grains, not just the gliaden in wheat! The allele HLA DQA1:05 is a marker for Celiac 2.5. I have it, I know!

    Can you explain why some people with celiac are obese and have a difficult time losing weight?

    • @tamrahodgins9301
      @tamrahodgins9301 Год назад +2

      Because it is an autoimmune response that attacks the thyroid as well. Hard to loose weight when you have hypothyroidism.

      I have DH (rash) and Celiac disease. I gained 40 lbs. when I had celiac disease. It was the inflammation and swelling. Once I figured out what to do, the weight just came right off. I was 155 and now am at 120 lbs.
      Gluten is a lectin. There are also lectins in other types of foods such as nightshades.
      I started removing foods that are high in lectins out of my diet. This made a HUGE difference.

      It depends on the individual.
      I've had hypo, hashis, and Celiac for over a decade at least and I wear a size 4. Zero issues with my weight at all.

    See I had zero GI issues. For some, it goes right thru the BBB and causes gluten ataxia and neuropathy. And I was GF when I was tested and told the dr I’d eat gluten again if I was negative. You can’t test when you’re GF for a year… so I’ve been living with primary progressive MS and neveeeer in a million years thought that test was wrong because no one ever says some have zero Gi issues!!! It’s important others know this …

    Hi Doctor I need help. I tested positive for h pylori in may and was put on antibiotics. Today I feel a little better, but still very bloated after eating and nauseous. I went to see the dr and he didn’t want to retest again. He said there was no need and it would slow down the medical system. He insisted that was it was treated, everything is ok. I don’t feel ok and I am frustrated. What should I do? Thank you

      Get a second opinion, also I suggest seeing a natural pathic dr or holistic dr.
      Check out whole Heath , in Chicago
      I see Wendy for my mold toxicity,
      My first visit was in person, and now I see her through TeleMed visits

      Can you see another doctor? H.Pylori can be difficult to treat and can take multiple drugs to treat. I am getting tested but I am drinking cabbage juice, taking l-glutamine and I chewed mastic gum for a couple of weeks just in case lol. I don't know what my issue is but those things did help.

      you still have to be in a caloric surplus, cutting gluten out of your diet doesn't automatically make you skinny, at least for some people.

    I have had diarrhea for weeks the doctor was like oh it's a stomach bug okay fine but now it's been weeks and through some research me and my mom are like while we're waiting to see a specialist what's cut out gluten while the diarrhea hasn't completely stopped the horrible pain from eating has not really sure what doctor can help with this I don't have a gastroenterologist at the moment

    I am convinced I have celiac disease. I know I cant have dairy.,but I was itching terribly all summer till now and I wondrrerd if I was diabetic. The itching had watery bubbles all over my area, but now i see this there is more to me than just having Morgellon's disease. I had that ten years with the hives and then the fibres come out in clusters of thistles. I've always had anemia but only how the drs admit it. The only dr in the locality who is not a gaslighting liar.
    The trouble with m3nis I always 3nd up diagnosing my self with what I have at least twenty years before I get through to a professional medical, like the autism. Gaslight all the way. And it doesn't help that there are no celiac safe cafes and pubsl

      Have your gallbladder scanned. I had your exact symptoms. Pain would come and go until it didn’t. I had massive gallstones!

    • @ssmouse77
      @ssmouse77 6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes. Tell your Dr. about your pain. You may be sent for a ct scan. Meanwhile layoff the bread. Pay attention if there is pain after eating fatty meats. That's what happened to me. When I got tested it turned out to be gall stones. Do not rush into gallbladder removal without learning more. I am living very well with gall stones by watching my meat fat intake. I still eat hamburger, not a problem. About 10 yrs. now.

      He may be a doctor, but he’s wrong here. Celiac isn’t hereditary but the propensity to develop an autoimmune disease is. In my family I had a grandfather with multiple sclerosis, a cousin with lupus, a son with psoriasis and a brother with celiac disease. All autoimmune diseases.

    no, your wrong on body and hair care, you dont need to use gluten free because your not ingesting it and toothpaste ect you dont use enough to swallow it to cause internal or external damage, external damage i.e : dh is caused by eating gluten, gluten particles are too big to enter pores, if your reacting to a skin or hair product then somthing else is going on and need to see a dermatologist.
