I previously limited my serve to the flat serve, which I do fairly well enough to not double fault too much but this weekend I thought to myself that I had enough control over the ball to mix up my serve. Your lesson on the slice serve was extremely beneficial. I was very very happy with the results as I watched my opponents being unprepared for the serve I chose... including the under arm serve. I'll now add the pancake reverse slice to my practice... if it doesn't aggravate my already injured wrist🙏
Your videos are amazing, but could you please do something about the auto focus (may be disable it?), most of the videos keep going in and out of focus, e.g. this one at 4:28, 5:38 etc. Thanks in advance.
The righty-pancake serve would be pretty effective on the ad-side as well since most people wouldn't expect a lefty-slice coming from a righty.
You're very correct. It's a fun change up

Just adding in some variety makes the opponent freeze briefly. Hope this video helps
Very good tips! Especially the pancake serve ! Will try for sure. Thanks.
Let me know if it helps
Thank you Will, inspiring serve tutorial.
Happy to help 😁

I agree. Try to keep point where the ball hits the Racket in the video frame. That makes things easier to see.
I will try it out
The pancake is sick!! It should be illegal : )
Hence the thumbnail 😉
Yeap nice one again thank you
Your welcome 🙏
Thanks Will. My slice is too linear. Still needs work
Try adding a little more body rotation to match your swing path
Awesome video Will! For the slice serve, do we stand close to the center line?
Yes otherwise you're fighting against the natural angle
That pancake had so much sauce on it
what's the grip for the pancake serve?
look like he moved over to a eastern using the usual pronation of a continental.
Semi western forehand grip.
Eastern works without changing techniques, semi western works but you have swing more across
We need to talk about autofocus
