I for one really appreciate that you're showing the hints as opposed to just skipping to the end. The whole point of a secrets video is to see the secrets! Keep up the great work man, love the content.
I think the “how people figured it out” of a secret is way cooler than the end result. It didn’t really help this stream cause I had to spend the first hour setting up those hints. I didn’t realize how long Walk was, so that really slowed the stream down sadly
@@Flembons Exactly! It sucks when people go over ARGs or puzzles only saying the answers, it's cool to go over the evidence and see how the pieces fit together. Especially for people in the future who hear about completed ARGs and wish they could have taken part
I am SCREAMING about the fantasy island sequence because I read about that existing at some point and then when I tried to look up info on it later I couldn't find ANYTHING about it and was convinced I had just dreamed it existed or something. IT WASN'T A DREAM! also, a detail I noticed while playing myself that's pretty easy to miss and I think you'd enjoy knowing about if you didn't already: if you look carefully at the VERY faint text of the article talking about the mod takedowns, it mentions mad lad bandito7 himself made the alien mod.

for some reason the Konomi Code clue I was just thinking "run into traffic" as the code could be "run" (as the run command is often used to open code) if the people symbolise action and acting on the traffic cone. Id never make it as a secret hunter 28:40 for timestamp.
I did the same thing with the healing spell. I was trying to get some snarky dialogue from the mechanic, so I tried some unusual game logic. Still worked though.
On amico, there is some connection in English (and a lot of other languages as well) as it all goes back to Latin, and the root word Amicus, which was the Latin word for friend (one of them at least). This was then slowly morphed into various other words in the "Romance Languages" (Amico in Italian, Amigo in Spanish, etc etc). Ami itself as a root is in a few words in English (off the top of my head, Amicable/amicably, which is roughly something like "in a friendly manner"). Language is fun. (This is just a rough explanation from memory)

The Hex is an artifact of the Old Data in hexadecimal.

I know why asmodeus is there, is implied that the gameworks is partially made from the code of Pony Island.

Sorry, my favorite healing spell is sort of a weapon, it's a healing rod fro FF6 and you whack your party members over the head to heal them.
