Nah, it just means they don't like it. I'm not a fan of glitched Surge runs either but the tools are there to do it. Quicksave / Quickload takes some of the pressure off trying a very technical skip when you can just repeat it at a button press.
Welcome to youtube speedruns. No matter how many times or how many people explain that speedrunning has catagories that involve glitches they will still call it cheating. The same thing happens to TAS runs all the time, even though they clearly state what they are and why they are a thing.
that was lovely to watch, thanks. and for the clueless commenters, the glitchless category world record run, WHICH IS A DIFFERENT CATEGORY TO ANY%, should be in the recommendations to your right.
I don't see why everyone is so mad at you for using glitches in this speedrun.I mean, the whole point of doing a speedrun is to complete a game as quickly as possible right? I for one like seeing people use glitches in speedruns. 0:03 Also Wel-
I don't know if you still speed run this anymore but did you know that if your positioning and timing is perfect, the second phase of the final boss can dash off of the platform and die instantly
Most of the time i found myself wondering what the heck i am watching and how the hell anyone managed to destroy this game (OOB all over the place). The title should be "Welcome to 'Let's break a game' - The Game". I don't even remember Souls games being that broken... Is the majority a case of Quick Save/Load? Or are the meshes torn?
If you dislike that rule, go ahead and join the speedrun community and vote for that, commenting here doesn't affect the oldest rule of speedrun at all, which is to use anything the game gave and not any 3rd party programs
I'm just making it clear that I'm not mad because of the way you speedrun, or whatever the hell the other people are complaining about (because they've apparently never seen a speedrun before). I'm just here to say, to anyone and everyone that compared this game in any way shape or form to the Soulsborne series, that this is an ugly, glitchy, and horribly shitty looking game. It looks like the westernised version of Dark Souls, and it's just as bland, shitty, and unoriginal as it would be for being such a thing. The final boss couldn't even hit you and you literally just stuck to him. I saw him try to hit you while you were right in front of him and he missed every single hit. What amazing game design. Oh yes and the final boss was a black blob thing, what an original enemy, I really feel like the artistic team went all out on that one. Western game developers should just stop making games, honestly, it's pathetic how much worse this game is to any Soulsborne game. Calling it even remotely similar to the Soulsborne series is an insult to those masterpieces.
As someone who’s played the hell out of Souls games, I really enjoyed this game. Probably the only game I NG+’d. I’m thankful that Deck13is taking the time to make games like this. Not sure what’s up with this guys play through on PC but the PS4 version is perfectly fine.
@@raynbillson2601 it's that the PC has quick save and quick load keys. I dont know the technicalities of this game but looks like he saves and loads mid animation and walls become suggestions.
Whole lotta people in these comments and apparently downvoting that have no clue what an ANY% speedrun is.

This one is different because it doesn't actually use any glitches, but literal cheat codes. It' like speedrunning Doom with iddqd.
No, I'm downvoting it because I think skipping bosses and glitches are not my idea of of an any % run.
@@Reachermordacai You don't really get what an any% run is do you?
I never thought moving backwards with the wheelchair would make move faster ...
thats the old hunter alright.
Yep me too

28 minutes... It took me 28 HOURS to beat the game! X"""D
Dude that’s nuts man, crazy, it’s like they made this game to be a speed run
Imagine buying this game, and 28 minutes later saying: " Well, that was cool..."

If u look closer u will see that in this speed run lot of montage.
Only reason I would thumbs this down is because of the horrible video quality lol.
AluminumHaste sorry my internet is abysmal, if the video was any better it would've taken me too long to upload it
I don't know if you still speed run this anymore but did you know that if your positioning and timing is perfect, the second phase of the final boss can dash off of the platform and die instantly
so you can walk through walls....... interesting
How did you kill the last boss so easily with a minimum equipment? Usually, his attack reduces your health points a lot regardless your own attacks...
I'm pretty sure he used an invincibility glitch
How r u doing the wall glitch please
What kind of glitch can make all enemy disappear? Really interesting.
By the way I’m playing PS4 version so I don’t know it have quick save/load in PC version!
Probably clipped into an area he's not supposed to be in and the game doesn't really fully load it because he skips the load trigger point

Quick save/load during the exolift trip allows you to noclip through walls.
Sweet video. Loved it
How did you skip pax? wtf
He just skipped by him
Yo how did you even skipped the first boss
We must support small You Tuber :))
Well done
How do you do the glitch where u run through the wall?
Nice run!
How do u take no dmg
Submit to agdq
bueno eso también cuenta xD
What happened with the first boss??
Quicksave and Quickload while fighting the boss destroys it and you have access to the exo-lift.
This seems more like a running simulator....
You are a hacker
With cheats, no man.
cheats null speedrun the games short as it is without glitching
What cheats did he use?
@@jameslowell9656 I guess we'll never know 🙄
use glitch for a speedrun it's really horrible, no interest, it is the world's nerest speedrun 😑

Dark souls speedrun literally uses a game breaking glitch that allows you to skip into sens fortress without ringing either bell
You sir are pissed about a plenty old game, and shame on you for wanting innovation halted here. Booo
