They hated it because some of them were very conservative and disliked the idea of sex and drugs being mentioned in a song. After years, they have changed to become more 'accepting' and loving. They are probably the country that is 'most' supportive of any Sexual Orientation.

Correct me if I'm crazy) CHATGPT gave me a better answer what DZ17 means: "In the context of funks, "DZ17" or "DA 17" generally refers to a specific community, favela or area associated with postal code (CEP) or police zone number 17, which is quite common in São Paulo.
