    Your pot roast looks delicious, this is a great idea. However, instead of placing the leftovers in glass bowls and putting them in the freezer, I use zip loc bags. Once you're done with the zip loc bags you can just throw it away, you don't have to worry about washing anything. I really enjoy your videos, keep up the GREAT job.

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  4 года назад

      Thanks! I'd still have to transfer the contents to the glass bowl, or a plate before microwaving/heating the food; so, still have to clean something. Also, the freezer in my truck is REALLY small. But, I do use the zip loc bags in the freezer technique at home.

    My dad was a truck driver for years and I’ve never seen a truck with outlets before like whaa???

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  3 года назад

      If he was a company driver, I'm not surprised; many company trucks typically haven't had them in the past. It requires a power inverter be installed, which converts the 12 volts DC battery voltage to 110 volts AC. This was my truck, so I paid to have it installed. Some companies are offering them in some of their trucks now as a perk or as a driver recruitment/retention tool.

    Ever think about a Ninja Foodi? Not cheap. $200+. But it will do everything. Great quality equipment. A chefs opinion...

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  4 года назад +1

      I've never heard of the Ninja Foodi until now. Just checked it out on Amazon and that would be pretty awesome; however, it's power requirements of 1760 watts far exceeds my 1500 watt power inverter which struggles to run a 1000 watt device.
      I've been thinking about upgrading to a 2000 watt inverter, but they start at about $300 plus installation.
      I'll keep this in mind for the future. Thanks!

    Are truckers allowed to eat at fast food restaurants or do they need to bring their own food?

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  2 года назад +1

      Sure; truckers eat at fast food places all the time. There are fast food places inside most truck stops. A problem for drivers is that most trucks are not designed to store food efficiently. My truck, as you saw in this video, has a small refrigerator. This is not the norm, but is a premium upgrade. While my truck has a space designed for a microwave oven, I had to add it as well as the power inverter to power it. Many company driver's trucks don't have these features, although some companies have been offering these features.

      Yes, I'm sure I washed my hands after driving all day; and, dinner was good. But because it's hard to be as clean in the truck as in our home kitchens, you have to be more conscious about not touching the food, etc.
