Gangs are a major problem in NZ and most of us are sick of the violence, the drugs and lack of integration with society
You not sick of the gangs, be honest you are scared of them.
@siubrown8923 yep I am, scared of the damage to society, being shot and beaten, my property stolen etc etc.
@@siubrown8923that as well
@@siubrown8923 Lmfao, scared of no one. Prove me wrong.
@@JoJoKaat people individuals !!!
Pakeha have the money
Asians are the cooks
Individuals sell it, pakeha get paid
Who are the real gangsters ?
Them waaaaaaaangkers in suits an blue who enforce mahi for those in the suits !
Harry's point is that he doesn't like the stereotype they've earned.
That's why these types become scumbag gang jerks... They are just dumb arses..
Why its been earned
You don't get your say this man shoots down gangs and Maoris people like this man are shocking every word he speaks is designed to put you Down and shit on you
They want to be mongrels lol and cry when people see them talk to them and act like you do around mongrels
And at the end of the day it is just a stereotype and without reality. I think you people are way worse.
Sean getting told off by a hurt feelings mobster 😂 this crazy world just keeps delivering 😂
Shows us that the new laws are working
Sean needs to reduce his habit of talking over most of his guests - let them speak and then reply
Well yeah. .but you wouldn't really want to listen to Hori.
Yep, certainly a mix of Sean reponding in a clear and respectful way, and raising his voice and talking over. He was right to criticize the gang life but Harry was surprisingly more polite.
Thank you Sean keep it up
See how quick the conversation goes down the path "Are you scared of me"? Next as we all know is "Do you wanna fight"?
He is afraid😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Demons struggle with witty verbiage
That is the mentality. For example - A mongrel Mob member who is in prison for M!@#$%^ing his 9 month old child has recently attacked two others, mur@#!$^g one and seriously injuring the other. All because they correctly called him a child m!@#$rer.
@@gordoncooke6785 yeah Harry soon changed his tune didn't he?
Went from insults and vailed threats to wishing him a very merry Christmas. 🤙
@@roddas26surprising how a bit of mutual respect changes the atmosphere isn’t it?
"You are criminals". Enough said.
Such a disingenuous argument. Anyone that's ever smoked weed or driven faster than the speed limit is a criminal . Mungies are not saints. But Sean's tactics and lines of questioning lay his bias out clear as day for anyone with 1.5 braincells to see. He's not willing to engage in any form of discussion other than demonisation.
Sean knows no compassion nor any understanding of where our socio economically disadvantaged come from. Most kiwis are not blessed with his upbringing, and thus are not blessed with the ability to choose good over surviving.
If he just listened? He may learn a thing or five.
Aroha with.save the world if everyone let's it.
No convictions for nine years because he was in prison for most of those years
Eah show your face, and see if them assumptions run as wild upfront.
What about the victims. A gang member set his dog on me for absolutely no reason just cause he felt like it.
Theyre Scum, it's that simple,
most maraes love them
@@seanodwyer4322 how do you know?
Gangs ARE the problem. We all know this - c'mon
@@siouxsioux2725 BULLSHIT..yourself is your own problem so stop using gangs as your scapegoat..
Gangs had such an easy ride under Labour, many gang members are in Kainga Ora which had zero eviction policy, (Sustained tenancies) which allowed gang members to do what they wanted without losing their homes.
Police were also softer on gangs, Labour's policy to reduce prison numbers meant less were being placed in prison or even being let out early.
Jacinda's hugs and kisses mentality took years to implement but has caused far longer in damages to peoples lives.
Harry is upset that the paradigm has shifted
It is also who labour turned to in the last election. That is why they came up with the Electoral (Registration of Sentenced Prisoners) Amendment Act that was passed in June 2020. The Act allows people in prison who are serving prison sentences of less than three years, to enrol to vote in the General Elections. With complete disregard to their victims.
Oh yes please let if shift much further, theres no place for organised terrorist groups living next to us in our communities
Not to mention the Millions of $ Jacinda gave the Mongrel Mob in Hawkes Bay - our tax, our money. Now they have a huge gang pad, sky high fences and land. Obscene
Where have you been it has also been National as well not just Labour. And gangs around the world are just the same as the gangs here. But it must be nice to have lived a life of a happy home and a loving mum and dad, because most of these gangsters have lived lives you wouldn't even be able to imagine.
@@NO_Mistake131 It is hilarious when people make fools of themselves by assuming things. Thanks for the laugh.

He did just like rocker cry cry cry but I'm tough as when 10 my mates with me
Nah mate this guy is fucking sound as fuck for double digit iq
I totally agree
I tell you what, at least Rocket didnt burst into a haka and "debated" more than the Maori Party.
Roko Dog you mean?
I agree, Harry seems like a better voice for the maori party then the ones in there.
So the guy that did jail time for dealing drugs call you pathetic, yeah right.
I bet he cant even have an intelligent conversation, he's too stupid to talk to any t.v or radio media, his argument had nothing it didn't even have structure
Gang member crying is wild lmao
Theyve suddenly become big sooks now the Cops are cracking down on them lol

Family courts are a gang.they rewrote cyfs now it's tamrekie something.however no laws or courts where changed so section 105 1973 it's not about the kid it's about lawyers and money so drag it out cause rifts between children's perants familys all because wins wanted court order to assist a perant with shared care custody yhen spin around and say no we can only pay one perant .point being gangs suck when they suck but what group of humans don't at some stage.good with the bad dontvpreach show them.and if you've got nothing good to say say nothing.telling a gang member they suck this and that good morale booster yeah they might not know how to navigate away from all they know or have been shown so by saying they're this and that in a negative way you're basically turning them around pointing them back the way they came then wonder why they become andeesocial after repeatedly falling through the cracks in society right back when they got sent to the church after mummy got knocked up at 13 bare foot and pregnant.makes me sick .look in yourebown back yard before you freak out
Does that include the shearing gangs? Boi.
Does that include the shearing gangs?
Does this represent the average gang member? Someone who gets easily offended and has to let everybody know about it?
I actually think him having a conversation is a little bit intriguing.. I think that him having a conversation like an adult is better than him, just losing the plot...
@@maorifilm If anyone was losing the plot, it was Sean. Interrupting, speaking over and putting words in the mouth of his guest is disgusting behaviour
It absolutely does
You must be new here, Shaun has shown less respect for sitting MP’s, never mind cartel chiefs.
@@mckenzieanderson-o5m sean isnt losing the plot lol. disgusting behaviour is the gang members supplying meth and bashing people lol.
He thinks he is good at arguing his case 😂
He actually held him self well I thought considering his background.
😂😂😂 trying to defend the indefensible.
I had a fella working for me once who put his girlfriend in hospital. He claimed it wasn’t his fault because she shouldn’t have made me angry.
I worked with a gang member on a civil job. He broke the hand of the new kid straight out of school when he wouldn’t give him a cigarette. He got a telling off and then sat in a corner sucking his thumb like a 2 year old. Never saw him again after that day, police were involved. but I heard he was adamant that it wasn’t his fault. Low IQ and thin skinned is a really bad combination. Never saw the the young lad again either, Undoubtedly ruined his first experience of work.
Well done Sean
Harry wants his human rights without any responsibility. Is it a human right to sell illegal drugs which permanently harm a person without accepting responsibility for the consequences.
He forfeited his human rights when he patched up
Average cost of housing someone in prison every year $150k x 9 years. Sole parent support for his 8 kids $500 pw for 9 years. Not to mention the social harm from selling meth. Total = ~$1,584,000 from the taxes of people who work everyday to provide for themselves. Good one Harre
Awesome Sean, you’re a legend and you tell the truth unlike other media
Seems Harry sees no real problem with selling P.
There are other *real* issues out there apparently...

@@HeKutukutuAhi that maybe the case but when you see a loved one go down the gurgler because of that insidious shit to the point where their former person is dead, yea there are other issues but that's a big deal to many.😥

Sean the way you handled this interview was brilliant. This guy makes himself sound like a pure squeaky clean brilliant amazing New Zealander. What a joke. Sean is awesome at giving us facts.....he is all about them. Thanks for keeping your cool. You acted with dignity.
Sean gets called a pathetic human being for obeying the law. Classic world we live in like an English cricket commentator in Australia with Indian heritage having to apologise to Jasprit Bumrah an Indian cricket player for racism. Thank God Trump is going to try and fix this bloody mess so we can have some basic bloody intelligence back in the world.
Trump hahah. He's a nutcase, so to is Kamila.
I take it the Trump part was being facetious. A racist, convicted fraudster and sex offender has very little to offer to bring "basic bloody intelligence back in the world".
This guy and his ilk have no credence.
Oh no! someone called a gang member names..... Mighty Mongrel Mob are victims too
Herre van Niekerken for all those wanting to google him - caused lots of misery

SEAN, you are over the target, stay on message, PLEASE do not give them airtime OR ask them about saying sorry to their victims only. The thugs do not like being co-fronted.
Hahaha yea they love the sausage fest.
homosexuality is rare as fk in nz prisons and prison rape is bs .. stop saying stuff you know nothing about ..
Gangs control prisons not corrections
You should have asked him what he does workwise for a living (apart from being sentenced to almost 10 years in prison for drug dealing) and does he pay maintenance for and support his 8 kids.
Nah that's falls on the tax payer to feed them

I have no idea where he was going with that, but classic.
Neither do I to be honest. But if he was truly not scared why not meet him in person? Because he's scared
Rememebr that harry called sean on his live show... why cant the big scary mobster rock up to his office @tumatauenga6433
Stop selling p and trying to intimidate people and actually be a true Maori warrior like the old days that looked out for the weak and vulnerable inside of preying on them like a gang of vultures
Maori? Hes whiter than the drugs he sells, look at his name😂
Umm - seriously? Maori warrior were not always looking out for the weak and vulnerable.
Yeah like Jake Jake the muss he didn’t sell p bro he ate fush and chups and drank l and p and finished it all off off with perky nanna 🤓 oh and some eggs 🍳
Love the turn around - the attack turned to an interview..😮😅
Harry sounded more open to a civil conversation than most politicians!
I would be keen to understand where and how he ended up in the gang, and bet he has a story, or history that most people would empathise with on how he ended up in a gang.
I am not condoning crime, but bet if I grew up in the right conditions, I could have ended up in a gang, fortunately I am just a privileged guy who had a roof over my head and great parents.
I grew up with self-accountability and accepted the consequences of my own behaviour - Good or bad.
doesn't mean they shouldn't get punished for their crimes
@logicalanswer3529 did you grow up in domestic violence and were raped daily as a child as so many gangs members have been? They join the gangster as the other gang members have been through similar experiences and they are connected through those experiences.
@@Bruiser223 didn't say that!
@@logicalanswer3529 @Freeeedumb I am just guessing, if you're Mum and Dad are cooked on meth, in and out of prison, you're uncle treats you like a sex toy and you grow up watching your Mother being raped and beaten, I would guess a gang may well seem like a safe option. I have not experienced that, just guessing self accountability is perhaps a bit harder to comprehend then for someone who grew up seeing that.
I am not saying that has happened it is just an example, and hopefully you have not experienced it, but many kids do experience this and it still happens today too much.
“Are you scared of me?”
“No”
“Well then your opinion doesn’t matter”

Sean Plunkett earns the title of The Greatest Gaslighter
This gang member is so full of shit good on sean for putting up with him.
Seans opinion only matters if he is scared of them 😂
I think it's more coming from a place so Harry can actually take in people terrified of them so they can curb their behaviour for those people. I know myself my friend called her sister in law unreasonable for being scared of Maori, then she explained the Hamilton mongrel mob killed her dad and she found his head in a box at 4. I felt so much for her and I refused to make her uncomfortable in her whare just bc I was invited by others, that's a huge overstep given I come from a gang family. Even tho it wasn't me and before my time, I understood her trepidation. And I offered her the respect she needed, she hadn't come across a mongrel mob family member that could hold themselves to account for something their family didn't do. I said it's not right, no child should ever see that. But my grandfather's taught me to hear others mamae, they made mistakes that our family benefitted from and those innocents deserve a voice. And if she ever wants, I'll accompany her anywhere she wants to let her voice be heard and that's a lifelong offer bc trauma is complicated.

Would gang members really want to hang out together..if there was no money involved..
If you do the research, gang members find one another due to experiences in state-run Boys Homes, borstals, being in the welfare system etc. They understand one another and their upbringings, so yes they would

Everyone has the right to do as they please. But when you break the law, or commit crimes which cost tax payers money and increase our insurance premiums each year, then yes... There are a large number of the community citizens who are sick of having to face crime, daily incidents and reports in the news of what is happening in our country.
People who say it's racist are speaking rubbish, anyone who commits a crime no matter what your ethnicity, needs to take some accountability.
It's the youth that are the issue, and this guy clearly agrees that not having a conviction in 9 yrs proves this yet again.
Sean. Listening to you, and watching this excerpt reminds me of having beers in the back bar of the Britannia pub, next to Press House back in the 70's when we worked for the same media owners. As he sat in his corner seat on the top right hand side at the end of the day and spoke his mind. You were an identical model of how he worked and talked. Even your lean-back when you are countering! I have not been a fan of you for years...but this episode tells me I need to listen more...as I did in the past to your father,

When does the label,Criminal end.
@eddymatiaha8212 That's exactly right and I didn't like it when Sean labelled him a criminal, especially since he committed the crimes many years ago!
Another important point is that people say that they want prisoners to be rehabilitated, as they call it, and to get jobs after being released, yet many aren't able to because of their convictions and the stigma involved. 😕

@@tombatts126 That is barely reading.
@logicalanswer3529 were you expecting a Shakespearean soliloquy? Perhaps akin to Olivier?
@logicalanswer3529 the point being that you do not need to resort to petty insults to carry the weight of your disagreement on whether or not gang members should be able to wear their patches at a funeral, or whether they are a force for evil in society. It only diminishes the argument. Although it does have the effect of having us all talk about it...
Gotta give him credit. He was firm and clear on his points and kept a cool head and maintained a level of focus - he could have got baited many times but he focussed on his points. He will have some valid points and they shouldn't be ignored in light of his darker sides. That said as the majority do we have to give our attention to those minorities who impact us negatively?
That's the challenge we face as a society today
I’m quite shocked at all the negativity towards Harry… He’s trying to communicate life from his perspective… that’s a step towards an opportunity for more understanding.
