I just picked up Divison 2 where I left off several years ago after only completing about half of the base campaign, and I dont know how I ever lost interest in this game. I LOVE just roaming around the open world and encountering enemies. Some of the more recently released games I have played just haven't scratched that itch, so it's cool to see that the devs are still supporting this game 5 years later. I'm looking forward to playing through all the content I have missed out on!
Survival mode was the most fun ive had in a game in a long time. I remember before d2 came out, massive did a poll on what game modes players would like to see in the upcoming game (D2). I remember writing a paragraph stating why survival was awesome and why i loved playing it so much. Just for them to ignore it in the end and waste their time on other nonsense lol. Good riddance i guess.
Not for everyone. Including me. The dz was it for me. Survival was popular but I think its importance is overstated. However it was an incredible game mode for its time.
Thanks for the video. I put hours into Division 1 and then my daughter was born when Division 2 came out so haven't picked it up yet. Now that she is in school I will be diving in based on your video. Thanks again lad.

I’d like to start a new character with a squad and run the story ultra realistic with a sniper heavy gunner and 2 assault guys. Play slow and use real world tactics as much as possible
Someone that's never played it, then yes, yes, you should play it. The first 30 and now 40 levels are brilliant, starting with zero items and money trying out new gear and skills for the first time. This is what the game is all about, but.... once you have that sweet set up with guns and gear, you've done all the missions and got to end game for me, end game becomes just a grind to find something better but you've completed everything or played each game mode and after, you find the rewards are just not worth it.

I wish I could serve and help others and be trained for this kind of stuff to help rescue civilians in hostile territories. In the army, you dont do what you want, you do what your told. No disrespect to our troops. I just wish they didnt have to take orders that may conflict with their conscience and have that respected.

Cool video! I used to find Division 1 & 2 incredibly addictive at first, the variety of enemies and gameplay kept me hooked for hours. However, over time, the combat started to feel repetitive and somewhat boring. Having to take cover about 89% of the time and rely on sneaking, which makes it repetitive. While I understand it's designed for immersive gameplay, it could be more engaging if the combat allowed for a mix of strategies without requiring constant cover

Do you suggest playing the first one before this one? Just got back into gaming after a 10 year hiatus, i bought a carbon black since im on a budget. So far the only game i have is new world aeternum and cant seem to get into, basically a waste of money on my part. So looking for something else to play and was looking at videos of this, but should i play division 1 first?
I would say it depend on your reason for wanting to play. If you want story, lore and world building I'd highly recommend playing The Division 1 first. But if you're looking for community and people to play with, the majority of players will be playing The Division 2. Either way, both games are very worth your time in my opinion and both have their prices reduced heavily on a regular basis. Hope that helps!
So far the only reason I haven't buy it also for PC is because I don't have access for all my PS progress, something I think should be a relative easy fix but they don't provide.
I have a question on ps+ its says for free when I downloaded the game and went to the helicopter guy it says I need the buy the manhattan DLC so do I need to buy that to play the actual game or is it free on PS+
@@IslamMohamed-k3s I don't remember the best cuz it's been a while now, either it is you need to reach like level 30 or clear the main campaign before going if you already purchased the New York content, an easy confirm method is creating a new character and try initiate the game in New York it it allows it then you have it. I wish I could give the exact solution but I hope this or some other comment helps you better!
You can customise elements of the UI but the armour, health and ammo counters next to your character can't be moved. It's something that you do get use too and actually comes in pretty hand at a glace being central.
you forgot to mention Hard Core mode, the most exhilarating mode in the game, start at 1 progress to whatever level, die, return to 1, lose all your gear and start again. doing a Dark hours Raid in hardcore mode is still the best thing I have ever done in any game.

Well, in my point of view; Division is the best product Ubisoft ever made in last ten years. It’s very sad to see almost all their games fell down and down. Bad PR, caring over way too much for Far Cry, AC (Already dead games and nobody likes em?) Hope they bring Division 3 in next years, love the team who was behind it, can’t imagine how good it’d be with 2025 condutions. Division 2 still looking better than 90% of new games out there. 😂
Far Cry isn't "dead" at all and there will always be an audience for it. It's one of the best open world sandbox series around. Fans just had a mixed reception over the last game. Wasn't universally hated by fans, just felt it was lacking in certain ways to the rest of the series. Far Cry 2, 3, 4 and 5 are all near perfect games. AC has so many games and still one of the most famous games ever made. I never played Division 2 or 1 cuz I haven't had a console in years so unfortunately this is my first time really playing it with not many players on. Which really urks me because I genuinely really love the game and would love to grind with more players as well as play the pvp. Also yeah, it really is looking better than a lot of new games its really impressive how it's stood the test of time. Even gameplay wise I'm just hooked and really like the story. As a new fan, I really really hope they make a 3 someday.
guys I have a question on ps+ its says for free when I downloaded the game and went to the helicopter guy it says I need the buy the manhattan DLC so do I need to buy that to play the actual game or is it free on PS+
The Devs have themselves to blame, banning 80% of player base for using an "in-game exploit", Rather than taking ownership & accepting their mistake like Destiny does, Massive literally messed up big time, Listening to certain youtubers & partially not banning some youtubers, Rather only the general playerbase, That too, For using an IN GAME EXPLOIT, A MISTAKE OF THE DEVS. Regardless of what few say, That was the nail to the coffin for TD2 No wonder the game went DEAD.
I liked this game. Only had the base game. Reminded me of borderlands which i loved. The game play was amazing! The story was mid.if you like an rpg like looter shooter that has a decent replay ability I recommend it.
The Standard edition will get you the base game and the Warlords of New York expansion. You don't pay for seasons, but there is a seasonal reward track with free rewards and extra paid rewards for (I think) about $10.
I've been playing since day 1 but lately I feel like I'm forcing myself to play this game. Descent is frustrating and I got bored with the Incursion after I got the Oroborous. Season 1 is so boring and I think Season 2 will make or break this game. Thanks to all the content creators complaining about seasonal characters, now we don't even get to try that. If Season 2 is bad or delayed then this game is dead
The last few times I played, I did one event, got bored and logged off again. The game is just dead now. Not a knock against it. Just the nature of any game, it will eventually become boring and repetitive.
Installed this yesterday, did one control point were the friendly ai didn’t spawn in after clearing the control point, uninstalled the game, give div3 a shot when it’s out but div2 is trash, too many bugs no fixes ever and no diversity in enemies they all boring af
Nope, still the same old shit.... major grind.... everything gets constantly nerfed... tons of conditional gear talents (on.... blah, blah, blah... get this), and the most boring builds one can think of. Go to countdown, only to get killed because the game decides to disable your shield in the heat of the battle, and don't dare to use a skill build using turrets, drones or the likes, that shit gets hacked. Not only are you losing what keeps you alive, it's used against you. Don't even get me started about the countless turrets that enemies like to place down in heroic or legendary pve, just to annoy the shit out of you, and forcing you to aim on turrets or their engineers the whole time. The game is crap.
Should you play this game in 2024 - Answer is a flat out, NO. With over 500 hours in this game, the game is a grind fest at best and doesn't have a clear identity in what it needs to be. It's a cover based shooter, but you can run and gun. is it an MMO? No, as it relies heavily on it's RPG mechanics. The developers themselves have abandoned this game. The people that made this game aren't even onboard anymore. If you really wanna play the division, I'd recommend Division 1. At least it still has the love and atmosphere that has long left this sequel.
If the game continues to go "Woke" and to cater to children, NO! I assure you I have put in at least as many hours as you have. I was a beta tester for The Division and Division 2, however, in these last two years, besides the lack of content, the game started catering to "rainbow social warriors" and to childish events, such as this summer event with a gay cowboy outfit and a water gun as prises. They might as well have called it "BrokeAss Mountain"'. I also demand to have a mature game, aimed at mature players, and with a dark themed colour pallet, as it always has been until recently. If I wanted to play one of those childish games with 20,000 colours popping up on my screen, I wouldn't be playing Division 2. Also, Ubisoft has to be remembered, constantly, that they are the preservers of a legacy left by a great man, who would be horrified by certain things being done to the game. Mr Clancy went from being a travelling salesman to becoming one of the best military analysts for two Presidents of the United States, aside from all the books and articles, fiction and factual, that he wrote over the years, he also left behind a team of writers, both military and from the alphabet agencies, to develop all the ideas he didn't have time to develop, the Division being one such project. Ubisoft also needs to be told, because they too are at fault, that Massive no longer has the ethical will to be handling a legacy of realistic games, nor do they have the capacity to maintain and develop this game. Massive should be closed for incompetence and everyone there fired for very low moral standards. This rant was necessary due to a Studio that is running a game for six years not being able to even remove bugs we detected in the betas. Six years and everything is bugged, is that acceptable? Their response is to play childish games, fix glitches that benefit the players, appeal to a woke crowd that does not play these types of games, and attempt to attract a crowd that likes childish games. So, a gay cowboy uniform and a red water gun are their ideas of content for a game that keeps resurrecting people I killed on numerous occasions. What next? A zombie-mode clone? All this in a game where almost everything is bugged or not working as intended, that still has three Dark Zones, which were supposed to be temporary, and that hasn't had any new content for years. Get Massive out of there now? How many more years do they need? Most of the loyal community, at this point, would not mind paying AAA prices for a few DLCs with new content, Cheers.
"woke" is when there's water guns and silly outfits in my video game. In all seriousness, you should probably refrain from writing out novels like this, or at least wait until you say absolutely anything of value at all. Your entire rant was just you using a word you have no idea the meaning of and loosely linking water guns and goofy skins to said word.
Woke is a term that means anything to hide your prejudices now. People don’t even know what the word means. It is a Trump/DeSantis term that is just meant to make people feel below you. Pick on the vulnerable I guess. It’s gross.

I came back with 619 lvl after 1317 days… disappointed that they never updated this game for PS5
no pal, no. i don't want to shoot a target in the head 18 times to drop it. no. and don't gaslight calling it a "rpg" which is not
That’s what’s made me never pick this one up, everything else about it seems decent but that part of a big no from me
That does sound bad
Hope that helps!
great video, seem like alot for me just to jump into ATM
Is that UI optional at all? I really can’t stand how it dynamically floats next to your character
@@Raybies Do you also lose the games mission progress when dying in Hard Core?
@@Brother_frojdYou lose everything if you die when playing on hardcore. Forced to delete the character and make a new one.
@@mrnozchalazt7199 WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
@@RockyLaRosayou do that when you don't have a job. You get a challenge. Every normal person wouldn't want this
Hope they make a "3"
It is in the works.
If you’re new…. yes. Amazing game. DON’T SLEEP ON IT!
If you’ve played, completed the expansion, done the raids… no. It’s a waste. Came back after almost two years and still ran the table with a full-red Baker’s Dozen and Chameleon build. Even helped senior veteran Grock guys in weekly raids and activities.
Ubisoft is yanking your chain. They’ve given up.
Well, in my point of view; Division is the best product Ubisoft ever made in last ten years. It’s very sad to see almost all their games fell down and down. Bad PR, caring over way too much for Far Cry, AC (Already dead games and nobody likes em?)
Hope they bring Division 3 in next years, love the team who was behind it, can’t imagine how good it’d be with 2025 condutions.
You didn't like "GR Breakpoint"?
guys I have a question on ps+ its says for free when I downloaded the game and went to the helicopter guy it says I need the buy the manhattan DLC so do I need to buy that to play the actual game or is it free on PS+
I never get tryed of this game still love it :)
Is it worth 10 bucks from the Steam sale?
@@Mr.Smith101 Ya for sure !! enjoy
The Devs have themselves to blame, banning 80% of player base for using an "in-game exploit",
Rather than taking ownership & accepting their mistake like Destiny does,
Massive literally messed up big time,
Listening to certain youtubers & partially not banning some youtubers,
Rather only the general playerbase,
That too,
For using an IN GAME EXPLOIT,
A MISTAKE OF THE DEVS.
Regardless of what few say,
That was the nail to the coffin for TD2
No wonder the game went DEAD.
I liked this game. Only had the base game. Reminded me of borderlands which i loved. The game play was amazing! The story was mid.if you like an rpg like looter shooter that has a decent replay ability I recommend it.
Does the game have an actual story to it or is it just random events?
Not a fan of games that are just a repetitive grind so unsure if its for me
Yes, it does have a story you play through as you unlock parts of the map.
Would love to see more pc players on this game :)
Do I need to buy the base game, the DLC and all the seasons?
The Standard edition will get you the base game and the Warlords of New York expansion. You don't pay for seasons, but there is a seasonal reward track with free rewards and extra paid rewards for (I think) about $10.
after you complete wony expansion seasons will be available.
Honestly the first game should have been expanded upon and stuck to. The Division 2 is the reason the series is dead.
Completely agree, I would have loved to see the first game built upon.
there is huge discount for the game ultimate edition less than 20$
😂 im here because the sale is still on for it and i missed the sale on the ghost recon games 😫
If you like the same PvE over and over again, sure. If you like GOOD PvP, treat it like covid and keep your distance. 😂
100% spot on about the PvP 😂
Yes but hardcore mode
I wish they would give Hardcore a little more love and rewards.
The dlc wont work i purchased.
Installed this yesterday, did one control point were the friendly ai didn’t spawn in after clearing the control point, uninstalled the game, give div3 a shot when it’s out but div2 is trash, too many bugs no fixes ever and no diversity in enemies they all boring af
No simple as that.
i pray ubisoft goes bankrupt with this no cross save shit
Yes
Still to bullet spongy
No thank you
Bullet 🧽
Nope. Play the first. Much better. No contest.
Thanks. Glad i didnt buy this one now.
Waste of time you just talked about everything we already know
I talked about everything you already know, the video is aimed at people new and curious about the game.
At least it still has the love and atmosphere that has long left this sequel.
no
short answer: no
If the game continues to go "Woke" and to cater to children, NO!
Most of the loyal community, at this point, would not mind paying AAA prices for a few DLCs with new content,
Cheers.
Woke is a Trump term meant to just make other people feel less than! It’s 2024. You should be able to see that now.
Woke is a term that means anything to hide your prejudices now. People don’t even know what the word means. It is a Trump/DeSantis term that is just meant to make people feel below you. Pick on the vulnerable I guess. It’s gross.
@@Acooky. better known as DEI, Diversity Exclusivity, Inclusion, US politics that infiltrate entertainment industries as a whole, bring video games 2-4 decades back, gamers and game dev give a huge middle F to politic/religion that tries to get into games contrast as now. Flyers about rainbow is one of it, girl boss issues that includes about mostly women in this game for some reason? I mean you can look it up on the character designs, "body toggle" in character creation and races, youll notice it along the way if you do. Where are the regular majority people of Americans? Instead everyone is people of colour, minority group that seemingly at large and little to not none or just the main villains are that "majority" race.
Conveniently, there is a video recommendation next to this textbox called as "P**sification of videogames" by AndyPants Gaming, 1M views 3weeks ago. Im pretty sure that one big factor of it.
Frankly speaking, Division 2 got so much potentials, their attention to details that only gun people would notice is utmost close to realistic but again, F'ed by US politics injection.

LOL Div in 2024?
No. The game is horrible.
After 4000+ hours playtime I finally gave up.
It's just getting boring more and more.
4000 hours is offensive.
I mean you put 4000 hours in it tho…
Yea 4000 hours is crazy dawg id say a pretty solid game
4000h???? Wth dude! How many hours a day do you then put into "real life"?
