- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new around the house happenings style video with you where I get it all done around the house! I organize some things, I decorate some things, I head to lowes and finally bed bath and beyond with my gift card... lol I get some gardening done and so much more! Like laundry... so much laundry man. Thanks. for hanging out for all of it!

FYI you are the person that I think has their life together ha you have ALL the kids and still manage to do other things around the house and cook fresh meals for your family. And you always make me feel proud of my corky (almost loosing my mind) attitude :)

For the outdoor cushions to stay in place, use a tiny diaper pin to poke the fabric and loop a zip tie onto the pin and then zip tie closed onto the rattan backing of the furniture. You can even find brown or black to blend in better.

The larger beach photo looks really good in the bathroom in place of the smaller photo. Up a little higher of course. 😄 yeah so that’s what I think😅 my reasoning is this- the blue works with the wall color without further darkening the room and the color of the flowers brings some nice life to the room especially because it’s so small of a space.
OMG Kim, watching your videos seriously makes my day and does put a little or a lot happy in my day. Also the part where you were tirelessly trying to hang the laundry, I seriously thought some or all the laundry were going to fly away. But good job.
We had mint growing at our old house and it went wild, but every time we would cut grass, the smell of mint filled the air. 😍 I love mint!!!

Would some Velcro Command Strips "Removable Interlocking Fastener Adhesives" work on those back cushions in the patio set? Just a thought. My favorite part was the big smile on your face after you had hung the laundry. Most people would have been aggravated at all the trouble you had getting it done but you were just happy you had accomplished something. It's all about prospective, and I love yours. Thank you for the little happy in my day!
What a morning! After sleeping in, my bestie Kim was on slinging those tunes, hanging her laundry and reorganizing like a boss. And, she remembered to hydrate & deodorize. Kim you can Velcro the cushions in place on the outdoor furniture. The carpet out there looks great! The girls bathroom looks so pretty to!
Same thought. Use velcro on the back of the cushions to keep them in place.

The wind was so brisk they were standing straight out! I figured by the time to got to the end of the line, she could just go back to where she started and take them down again because they’d be dry! 🤣

Your back entertaining area is looking great. You’re getting there and doing a nice job at it. Rug looks good, it keeps things looking put together, you know what I mean. Plants look great. I have a citronella plant as well hoping to keep mosquitoes away well 🤷♀️. I guess it kinda works but for one definite fact, when you brush against it the smell is amazing. Very Lemony! I’ve also heard having herbs out also helps with the pesky flying bugs. Especially Mint. If you can have that grow wild in the back. That can contain them as well. Growing up we had a yard full of them. And the smell is amazing to, when it’s cut

I love all the outdoor stuff and the girl’s bathroom 💛 I keep some of our old towels in a Rubbermaid container just to use for cleaning up spills or whatever. Have a good day 😀
Same! We keep old/rough ones in the laundry room and use them as rags or whatever. Second life! Lol

That laundry was dried in 5 minutes with that wind. I suffer from chronic fatigue, and I get exhausted just watching you. Love your energy. I also love how "real" you are. Many people on the tube and such edit to make them look incredible. That is not real life all the time. You keep it real. I can relate. Hope you're feeling better.

I do miss the year round green of all the grass and trees 365 days almost.. i will say im thankful for fall and winter now. Got our first snow this year which was so exciting and COLD. Your snake plants don’t need a lot of water, so you might want to remove the larger one from the pot that’s planted with the other plant and plant it by itself. You worked hard today, Kim! We weren’t very high tech with our clothesline. My father gave us a 2x4 with a nail diagonally in the side of one end of the 2x4. We used after the clothes were on the line. That way the weight of the clothes would hold the 2x4 in place.
The clothes will be dry in 10 minutes in that wind, lol. 😆
I was literally about to say it probably took longer to hang the clothes than it takes for them to dry🤣🤣
Kim, get the Command hook Velcro and put them on the back of your patio cushions. That way they won't fall over.
Don't throw away your old towels, blankets, even sheets, if you have an animal shelter near, donate, they always need for bedding.

Is there another way? I live in Australia all the washing goes on the washing line (often called Hills Hoist) do you use a rack inside for yours?

You did a great job as usual on your picture hanging. I love watching hang clothes it reminds me of when I was a little girl and had to hang out close in San Francisco as windy as it was. But my parents didn’t have a dryer so all of us children 11 of us had to hang out the clothes we took turns each week. Because we all had chores that we had to do with it was to set the table sweep after dinner wash the dishes put the dishes away. But it took me so many valuable lessons about being a mom and how to get organized after all I did have five children in my home. For first aid, I saw someone use like snapping shut containers (like a pencil box kind of) labeled with things like “tummy, head, ouch” stuff like that. Keeps it a bit harder to get into for little hands but also makes it easy for older ones to know where to go for different things!

I don’t know if anyones said it yet, but for the patio pillows!! Get a big roll of Velcro from Amazon and attach your pillows to the back of the sectional using it! My mom did that a few years back and worked amazingly!

Outdoor rug looks great! You could try Velcro on the outdoor sofa cushions.
I like the rug and the picture in the bathroom. Put self stick velcro on back of the cushions and the outdoor couch to keep cushions in place.

Lavender is superb for bees & bumblebees and butterflies. We have 2 huge lavender bushes (keeps the aphids away if in between rose bushes, which we have) anyway, in the late spring & summer these are absolutely filled with bumblebees. For some reason we have a lot of bumblebees in our yard!
