- This video shows how to get into the Korg X50 synthesiser and replace the enter key button (which happens to be one of the more critical ones to go wrong).
Spare part obtained from syntaur.com. I think they also do parts for other synths.

my korg x50 display is blinking and unable to read text atall. How do i fix it ? If i have to change the lcd wher do i get. When i tried opening the lcd the glasses and white thin paper like strips were opened up ..somehow i keep it intake ..please guide
I'm not an expert, but my guess is you will have to replace the part. I got my parts from syntaur but I see that they are out of stock on this display (syntaur.com/Items.php?Item=4600) - probably till they get another X50 to break up for parts. You could try Korg directly.
I have an X50, where some of the keys in the higher octaves have stopped working properly. More specifically the pressure is not registered correctly at all. You may press a key slightly and have it play loudly or you may press a key hard and have it play very quiet or not at all. What parts seem to be failing here, so that I know what to order? The keys were being depressed for a long time, due to the way the unit was stored, so I am guessing the contact strips? Thank you
I'd guess the same thing. It could possibly be that the area between the contact strip and the board below it has got dirty, so you could try cleaning that first. The syntaur forum has stuff on contact strips you could browse (forums.syntaur.com/search?q=contact%20strips). Depending on the state of the strip in question and how much its going to cost you for postage (which in my case was greater than the price of the item), you might just want to get another one anyway - even if you have to buy it used.
@@runaib Thanks for that link! I have the exact same issue with the 1st post there! I'll try cleaning up one of the faulty strip sections first, and see if it works. Otherwise I'll have to buy them. The postage costs more than the items too, in my case, but I can't do much else if cleaning doesn't help

Do you have extra LCD for korg x50?
Try syntaur.com. That's where I got my parts. I think they get them by buying up old synths and taking them apart. If that doesn't work you'll have to look out for something on ebay.
