I'm a melancholy kind of person the only thing that seems to lighten my load is knowing its going to end. When you really step back and God shows you the "hidden things" in the house next door that looks like they reasonably have their act together you'll have more of an understanding of my mindset.
God will give you a break by helping you to repent. Choose to look at your sin and ask God to deeply help you look at it like he does. It will change you deeply!
Hello Brother Rich, I'm thanking God I found your channel. Like many here I'm feeling the same way about the world. I got rid of the TV 13 years ago because I felt bombarded by the world. But now it's so in your face, daily one way or another, our only escape is UP with Jesus. But yet the Lord wants me to occupy until He comes. He strengthens me daily to do that. God bless you.

I too feel that eay sometimes but God is always out there working, touching hearts and we can be sure as long as He lets us continue, the Holy Spirit is still bringing people into the flock. Know that your patience is waiting, like God does, for more souls to be saved and we are to have long-suffering like our Lord knowing this is what is happening. We know the time is close for His return and we need to keep our head up Brother and pray for strength and a renewed hunger to do our Lords will and give thanks that more people are being brought into our Family daily, even by the minute. My prayers are with you to continue with zeal and a renewed hunger to do our Lords will.
The best gift is knowing a person seeking God's heart. They even replaced that with material. God's gift was it. Believer and unbeliever lost that for material. The best I can give those who know me is to follow Jesus in faith. I figured that out this Christmas. Can be a struggle.
If God doesn't do something about the abominable state of humanity He's going to have to apologise to Sodom and Gomorrah. Until I was Saved very recently I was a very sinful person, of course I still struggle with issues that are offensive to God such as anger, resentment, suicidal thoughts, apathy, sloth, lustful thoughts. The 'coincidences' that I've had over the last few months have been remarkable, in the people I've met, the invitations to listen to the Word of God, the testimonies that I've listened to, the amazing fellowship in the church I now attend, the incredible work of our Pastor etc, I feel blessed to have been given this opportunity, particularly when I was at my lowest point. I wish I knew how to better honour God for calling me and welcoming me into His arms, I pray that he'll help me to climb out of this depressive slumber. Any tips on what I can do will be appreciated. I'm reading the book of Jasher again. It goes into more detail of the old testament. Also Jubilees , Enoch 1, Testaments of the 12 Patriarchs, Nicodemus and 2 Esdras are super awesome. 2 Esdras explains in depth why God is not bringing very many people into the new world. Very good books and I completely understand why He has it that way. I was very disturbed about the CEO, and the NYC woman on fire as well. Just gotta stay in the word and don't let the world get you down. Stay KINGDOM focused.

I don't think your theology is right on this one, you can't conflate the 2 things, Abraham who trusted God that he would protect his wife and Lot who knew they were angels when hospitality ment you keep your guests safe at the expense of your family, now thats foreign to us because we no longer have that obligation, where we would right now sacrifice others we dont know for our own safety.

It does seem to be mission impossible, doesn't it? Nearly 100% of people are devoted to fulfilling the lusts of their flesh and minds. People are bad and do bad things. Hopefully, some people see this human nature and want to change their character, to be a new creation. One who loves God and their neighbor, and serves God and neighbor, bearing good fruit that benefits God and their neighbor. In John 14 - 18 the bridegroom has an intimate talk with his future bride. He tells them multiple times if they obey His commandments, he will love them. He will do everything to help the bride during the preparation time before the marriage. It is like a very intimate talk between the groom and the bride who he so obviously loves. I suggest step one be obeying the commandment to keep the Sabbath holy. The Sabbath runs from sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night. Additional understandings and blessings will come when a person obeys God. Many are called, but few are chosen to participate in the first resurrection. The saints will be the priests in the Kingdom of God. Only a few will enter through the narrow gate at this time. 99% prefer the wide path of the world - sin and disobedience. Perhaps as a priest in the Kingdom of God, you may be able to help those in the second resurrection. The fact is, nearly 100% of people have chosen to please themselves instead of God at this time. Mercifully, God has left their eyes, ears and understanding closed through use of parables. Maybe your job can be to help them after the Kingdom of God begins to rule. For now, Satan is crushing it, he appears nearly 100% victorious. A saint should read the Bible cover to cover at least once each year, and put its instructions into practice. Bring forth the fruits of the Spirit, and eschew the works/fulfilling the desires of the flesh.

The Sodomites didn't know that they were angels, they made advances thinking they were just fresh meat in town. Sodom was destroyed because of Pride, Haughtiness, Laziness, because they had plenty but shared nothing with those in need. They were a "me, me, me" society. God was far from them and was not found to be in any of their ways. No fear of God was in them.

It does seem to be mission impossible, doesn't it? Nearly 100% of people are devoted to fulfilling the lusts of their flesh and minds. People are bad and do bad things. Hopefully, some people see this human nature and want to change their character, to be a new creation. One who loves God and their neighbor, and serves God and neighbor, bearing good fruit that benefits God and their neighbor. In John 14 - 18 the bridegroom has an intimate talk with his future bride. He tells them multiple times if they obey His commandments, he will love them. He will do everything to help the bride during the preparation time before the marriage. It is like a very intimate talk between the groom and the bride who he so obviously loves. I suggest step one be obeying the commandment to keep the Sabbath holy. The Sabbath runs from sundown Friday night to sundown Saturday night. Additional understandings and blessings will come when a person obeys God. Many are called, but few are chosen to participate in the first resurrection. The saints will be the priests in the Kingdom of God. Only a few will enter through the narrow gate at this time. 99% prefer the wide path of the world - sin and disobedience. Perhaps as a priest in the Kingdom of God, you may be able to help those in the second resurrection. The fact is, nearly 100% of people have chosen to please themselves instead of God at this time. Mercifully, God has left their eyes, ears and understanding closed through use of parables. Maybe your job can be to help them after the Kingdom of God begins to rule. For now, Satan is crushing it, he appears nearly 100% victorious. A saint should read the Bible cover to cover at least once each year, and put its instructions into practice. Bring forth the fruits of the Spirit, and eschew the works/fulfilling the desires of the flesh.
