Marko Čerče probably jealous personal trainers that are disliking these videos. It's jealousy and fear. I've been a personal trainer for 20 years and I am learning a ton from this guy.
+Josh Carter body fat % or how toned you are makes a big difference. 16" arms that are cut and dry can look bigger than 18" arms with no tone. Obviously a side by side would show otherwise but the muscle definition makes people think they're bigger.
Jeff! You're a genius brother! Time under tension has EXTREMELY helped my workouts become more productive. It was difficult to go from doing 10 or 12 reps to only being able to do 4 or 5, but eventually you build back up to 10 or 12 with time under tension incorporated into it. Makes a huge difference.

But after trying some of the things he is talking about - this guy knows what he is doing.
Everyone can have big arms dude. Just kick your ass in the gym, go with low weights and more reps or heavy weights with less reps and see what works best for you
Ζαφειρης Ρεζ That's not bullshit, you dumb ass some people don't always respond to either one of those.. You need to always change your program during training to experiment which works best
Heavy and low reps is for fast twitch muscle, low weight and high reps is for slow twitch muscle. Like Eddie says, you gotta do both, each for about a month to see whether you're fast twitch or slow twitch. One will work better for you than the other. Doing the one which is not working for you so well can be dropped, it doesn't need to be done too.
This is a super shortcut to biceps injury. I'm a PT and speaking from experience (I injured my biceps several time with this method). Heavy weight lifting should be very careful, our muscles and tendors can be injured easly.
I been doing this slowly return for many years, however only recently started your way of really slow burning all the way down and my arms in general are bigger and more defined. Thank you!
I want to thank you feff i have been training for almost 6 months. I lost 20 kg (44 pounds) of fat and gained muscle . i want to thank you for motivating me!
Been watching Jeff's video from day one of my body transformation about two years ago and I gotta say he has been a lot help. He is one of the, if not one of the smartest bodybuilding athletes on RUclips. Keep up the good work!
Hey Jeff/ATHLEAN-X Team, I'm Damiano Marsili, a 14 year old fencer from Italy, I've been watching your videos religiously for over a year now and I truly appreciate all the things I've learnt and greatly attribute my physique and fencing success to your channel. I've been fencing competitively for over 4 years and ranked second in the U14th Championships in Netherlands and won the Nationals in Belgium (I used to live there). This year I'm stepping up into the Cadet age group and as a result will be training much more intensely and more often. Whilst this is great it created a very serious postural and visual issue. Fencing is completely one handed, my left arm/hand are completely and utterly negligible, and with the frequency and intensity at which I train at it has created a huge disparity in muscles between the two arms, especially noticeable in my biceps. My weekly schedule is as follows: Monday - Fencing Tuesday - Workout from home (I own dumbells which I can switch weight, a bench and a mat) Wednesday - Fencing Thursday - Fencing Friday - Workout from home Saturday - Fencing Sunday - Workout from home When I work out from home I pay extra attention to my left arm, adding in a couple more sets for biceps curls as an example. However as you can see in the pictures attached it really hasn't made a substantial difference. So.. After all this typing, my question to you Jeff Cavaliere is: What can I do to increase my left arm's strength and size whilst still not affecting/impairing my right arms growth? Thank you so much for your time, sorry for such a long message. I really look forward to your reply. Thanks Again from a huge fan -Damiano
Thx for the reply guys...I tried the front bar squat but my wrist can't go all the way back and it hurts when I do it. Is there any other way to do it without hurting my wrist?

Of all the bodybuilding channels on youtube, yours is the one I'm using for inspiration. Extremely helpful, I started with chinups too, they gave me the bug! keep up the great work.
ever since i switched from barbell to overloading a cable machine I'm seeing much more results for my biceps. Controlling larger weight on the cable machine allows me to target the biceps more instead of my joints which has seen my biceps grow
Favorite "fitness" channel on youtube, because it is much more than just fitness. I would like to see more tricep and hamstring videos though. @AthleanX
This video has studies backing this claim so... who ever dislikes this vid and also advocates light weights with lower reps and muscle contraction should know that HEAVIER LOADS PRODUCE MUSCLE GROWTH
What a coincidence. I was researching about eccentric movements yesterday and found out that eccentric movements does the most damage to the muscle while exercising.
Jeff might know a lot, but he doesn't know that we let the weight fall on our chest for a nice spring while bench pressing. 315! LIGHT WEIGHT LIGHT WEIGHT
Jeff, these videos where you tell it like it is has been a great help to me. Particularly the video title the Climb was great motivation for me. 2 months ago I finally decided to just get off my butt and start doing something. I changed my eating habits, I started following you advice on how to exercise properly, albeit with resistance bands at home. In just 3 months I've lost 33 lbs and started building muscle. Thank you very much for what you do.
A forgotten technique for many of us. I started reincorporating eccentrics in my workouts, including back or other body parts where I see it necessary. (legs) However, since I've done the eccentrics on biceps, I'm seeing massive gains and that "softball" is starting to form. Great tip.
L L basically yes. just don't do that for every rep. sometimes moving heavier weight for more reps is more important than fewer quality reps imo. so what you should take away from this is switch it up often. something different everytime the "shock factor" as Arnold calls it
i'm very new to weight lifting, i've done thai boxing for years so this is a different kind of challenge but i'm enjoying trying something different. Jeffs tips are really helping and i've managed to put on 3.5kg in a month even a crummy diet :)

That comparison of dive-bomb squats to uncontrolled ecentrics really hit home. Thanks Jeff, for putting the eccentric control in terms that click with me in a way better than just saying "slow eccentrics! Control the negative!". Simple wording, but clever and effective.
Jeff has addressed this in an earlier video about "which curl is best for you"? To give a quick synopsis about what you might find in relation to your elbows though, if it's the inside of your elbow, then it can likely be caused by the overactive flexors in your forearms when you curl. To help your biceps develop to the point where they can handle the weight properly, you might want to try wrist-back curls, where your palms are extended away from your biceps in order to deactivate the forearm flexors. With this, you might feel your biceps contract like never before because they're doing all the work! But in any case, I highly recommend watching the curl variation video, if you haven't already. As is true with the rest of Jeff's content, it's of the highest quality!

Thats what jeff advocates. Cus it helps u get over strength plateaus that u hit every now and then
it also let's you know what part of your body is lagging and making you break form so you can train that specific region, ex: upper back on a deadlift
do you mean using momentum on a row or rounding lower back on a deadlift? one is OK the other is NOT
