Thank you so much! I replaced the crank case ventilation filter and I couldnt clear our the message .after seen this video It work for me just like it show on the video. 3 times reset and it clear out the perform message.
On my 2013 Laramie I did tried this many times today. Each time I did wait until the little envelope opened up (and what is supposed to be a piece of paper pops up), then I did the procedure here 7 or 8 times, on at least 2 of the times I did see the little open envelope close at the end of the accelerator step. It seems to be gone now, hopefully that will last until the next CCV service interval at 135,000. Opening and shuting the door did seem to help.
Wow it worked I wonder why this info is not something the dealer should make us techs aware about or even the customer, this trucks ain't cheap and for them keeping this secret from us is B's, just saying
They reset mine and it came back. I wonder if they know. Or they just trying to make money by telling people stories of what they need to do in order to reset
