Russia calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume talks on reopening transit routes

📍 Large crowds of protesters gathered again this afternoon to call on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to resign over a border delimitation deal reached with Azerbaijan last month.
📍 Armenia’s leading press freedom groups condemned the uptick in police violence against media workers and called for independent investigations into such incidents.
📍 A senior Russian diplomat called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume three-way talks with the Kremlin on reopening regional transport routes, after almost a year of inaction.
📍 Russia’s peacekeeping contingent formally concluded its withdrawal from Karabakh.
📍 Armenia and India agreed to create a joint working group to coordinate defense relations, marking the latest sign of deepening security ties between the two countries.
