Drongo - I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Your videos are a bright spot in a week of long griding hours at work. Your knowledge, your style, and your willingness to be a real person punctuate my week with amazing casts that I truly enjoy. You got sick, you had a new child, you traveled, and you lost someone special. I'm sorry for the pain and happy for the joy. We will never meet, we will never talk, but I consider you part of my tribe and a friend. Thank you for your contributions. During the lulls in your casts, I wondered, "what's up with Drongo?" Then you would share. Each time, I wished you well or felt the pain of the loss you shared. My father nearly passed at the end of this 2023. You are an amazing person and I'm certain your Pop was someone equally as amazing. I rarely comment on your videos, but I'll be giving thumbs up today, tomorrow, and into the unknowable future.

I'm no pro, so I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, but the mistakes The Kid made all throughout the game seem so dumb. Especially that last engagement: No scout with his army, only a handful of spearmen to stall the MAA, no Wolol to cover for his siege...like simple mistake after simple mistake. I know it's easy to be an arm-chair general, but he's Conq 3, get your shit together man....

The kid made an insane amount of mistakes, the biggest of which was not immediately swamping English base with MAA the second Burgrave was finished. Instead he kindly sat down and let English build white palace in peace. Feudal English got nothing vs HRE castle age MAA, it was his chance to end the entire game.
Every HRE player should know that English will rush Castle to build crossbows vs HRE.

Definitely grandfather based on how he said he'd been lucky to not have really lost anyone. Plus father would be a huge devastating loss, I doubt he'd be casting two days later.

Is it me or has everyone misunderstood pops to mean father when it 99% sure based on context and the way drongo talked about it, means his grandfather. He is clearly super close to his dad so he would not be casually talking about it if it was his father, no?
