The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. The bands met at Aftershock Festival in 2022. Band-Maid invited The Warning to Japan. During the visit they recorded the track, shot the music video and put on a co-headline show in Tokyo ending with both bands coming on stage together to perform this song live. So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.

I'm a long time Maidiac. I love this collaboration. I have been "aware" of The Warning since they did their Enter Sandman cover many many moons ago. I have always "liked" them, but I never gave them my proper attention till this past weekend whilst on a road trip. They have a new fan. They're great. A totally different rock style to Band-Maid but familiar to me..... A sprinkling of Stoner/Sludge. Both bands are great in there own right and I wish nothing but success for both. hacia adelante y hacia arriba & 前進と上向き (Forward and Upward).
I discovered The Warning about 5 months ago and they quickly became my favorite band. Great music, great story, great people. I'm looking forward to any reactions you do to them. "Evolve" at the 2023 MTV VMAs and "Hell You Call a Dream" at the Pepsi Center CDMX (CDMX is the abbreviation for Mexico City) are two of my favorite performances by them. Live is definitely where they shine the brightest.
I'm a Band-Maid fan and also like The Warning. Instrumentally speaking, this is just a teaser, nothing unexpected from these two bands and leaves you wanting more. What IS impressive is that Saiki and Dani are singing a higher key than either of them is comfortable with and they are so Insync, you'd think they have similar voices, but they are not. Loved it.
So that little bass outro Misa does there at the end there is an homage to the end of "Survive," one of The Warning's early big hits ;) The ladies all hit it off so well, this was a great collaboration, and they want to do more

What is nice is this wasn't a management invention. The bands have been in contact on social media but met each other at a US festival. All members screamed like kids when they met each other. They actually like and admire each other. The Warning are all in their twenties and sisters.and have been playing since they were young kids. Band Maid have five members all in their thirties and have been together for 11 years. In other words both bands know what they are doing and do it well. We all have our favourite bands but as a genuine collaboration. This was a true meeting that made a true Super Group. I am sure that time permitting they will do it again.

One fun fact is that your t- shirt of Bring me the Horizon reminded me that David Bendeth who produced one of their albums, also produced The Warning's album Error. A great album with songs you should check out. Choke, Animosity, ERROR, Evolve to name a couple. Some of their latest music from their current album such as Automatic Sun, Hell you call a dream, Six feet deep are great. Older songs, Dust to Dust, Dull Knives, Survive, Queen of the murder scene. anything from The Warning is great because every song can stand on it's own but they arrange the songs on an album for a specific vibe.they started writing and first an EP called Escape The Mind was them finding a sound followed by XXI Century Blood and Queen Of The Murder Scene is a rock novel. found them after XXICB came out. After they signed with Lava they released ERROR and Keep Me Fed. TW also inspired an 11yo Quinn to learn guitar by learning QOTMS album and now at 17yo has a band called Freeze The Fall and is guitar/vocals along with 15yo Aria on bass/vocals and 16yo Jonah. FTF are now at about the same age as TW were when i found them 7yrs ago and i see greatness ahead. FTF's debut EP Thrones is a banger. Be Good To One Another and ROCK ON !!

A great collaboration between two power house rock bands that just happen to be friends, too! I think you will like The Warning, as they are on a rocket trajectory to the top of the world! I would recommend starting with The Warnings original cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman", then their reimagining that song at their performance at the Teatro Metropolitan! I've seen both bands live and they sure deliver the goods! Different styles but rocking out by both bands!

Both The Warning and Band Maid are phenomenal. It's a no-brainer that The Warning are worth checking out. My recommendation for a song by The Warning to react to would be "Hell You Call a Dream", live from Pepsi Center CDMX. Perhaps an official music video as a follow-up like "Six Feet Deep". After that, you will definitely be yearning for more!
The Warning went viral when they were just 9, 12 and 14 years of age in 2014, when they covered Metallica in their basement for their grandparents. To hone their skills they did covers of Muse, the Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses, just to name a few. When they got older they opened for Muse, the Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses, just to name few. Metallica tasked them to rework Enter Sandman with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for the 30th anniversary Blacklist album. I love Band Maid. but The Warning are definitely my second goto band to get that fresh new rock feels I'm used to getting with Band Maid songs. They are a staple if you like what Band Maid does.

This awesome collab from Dany's opening wail to MISA's thumping bass at the end screams "GIRL POWER!" Wow! Collabs are notoriously hard as hell to pull off well. The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico, and are on average about 10 years younger than Band Maid, and they have been a band for a little over 10 years. Their music is a unique blend of classic hard rock, heavy metal, punk and alternative, with catchy hooks and riffs, and often deep lyrics. First, there was no dueling. I was at the show in Tokyo where they furst performed this song. When they took turns, we could see the admiration they had for each itger. They were not competing, they were celebrating each other. You really must check out the Warning, a three sister powerhouse. Start with "Evolove" from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Trust me on this. I would say this song is a very good blend of both bands. I know this because my fellow Band Maid fans say this sounds like a Warning song, and all the Warning fans say it sounds like a Band Maid song. You will almost certainly like the warning, they are a great band. Evolve live on the vma’s seems to be the entry point for a lot of people. Dany can wail. Keep on enjoying music!
I discovered Band-Maid late 2018 and The Warning early 2020. So, when they met at Aftershock festival in 2022 (you have to watch that meeting video!), it was all stars aligned for me. They instantly started talking about collaboration and there's one thing I learned: when Band-Maid speaks about something, you better listen because it will happen soon or later. And here it is 😎.
Live is the Warning's super power so the best first stop is always "Evolve" from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Another good snapshot is the OMV for "Que Mas Quieres" from their new album and one of only 3 songs with lyrics in Spanish. Funny you should say "consuming" the Warning has a new song from their new album Keep Me Fed that is called "Consume" you should check it out. Its on their You Tube channel.
Per the Billboard Japan interview, Miku and the Warning wrote the lyrics. The song started with a Kanami demo; both bands then worked back and forth on it until they came up with the final version that kept the "atmosphere" of the demo, according to Dany from the Warning.

I saw The Warning last year at Plymouth when they opened for Muse and 3 times this year at The 02 Brum, Maidfest at Maidstone and at Leeds a couple of weeks ago, if you like them they’re back next year but get in fast the tickets sell out very quickly! Live is them at their best, studio is good but you just don’t feel their energy without seeing a live performance! The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as
The Warning”.
It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019.
In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old).
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world.
The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023.
Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023
Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. The bands met at Aftershock Festival in 2022. Band-Maid invited The Warning to Japan. During the visit they recorded the track, shot the music video and put on a co-headline show in Tokyo ending with both bands coming on stage together to perform this song live. The door has been left open for Band-Maid to visit Mexico for a 2nd collaboration in the future! Highly recommend checking out The Warning's original music, equally fantastic ⚡

So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.

I'm a long time Maidiac. I love this collaboration. I have been "aware" of The Warning since they did their Enter Sandman cover many many moons ago. I have always "liked" them, but I never gave them my proper attention till this past weekend whilst on a road trip. They have a new fan. They're great. A totally different rock style to Band-Maid but familiar to me..... A sprinkling of Stoner/Sludge. Both bands are great in there own right and I wish nothing but success for both. hacia adelante y hacia arriba & 前進と上向き (Forward and Upward).

I discovered The Warning about 5 months ago and they quickly became my favorite band. Great music, great story, great people. I'm looking forward to any reactions you do to them. "Evolve" at the 2023 MTV VMAs and "Hell You Call a Dream" at the Pepsi Center CDMX (CDMX is the abbreviation for Mexico City) are two of my favorite performances by them. Live is definitely where they shine the brightest.
I'm a Band-Maid fan and also like The Warning. Instrumentally speaking, this is just a teaser, nothing unexpected from these two bands and leaves you wanting more. What IS impressive is that Saiki and Dani are singing a higher key than either of them is comfortable with and they are so Insync, you'd think they have similar voices, but they are not. Loved it.

What is nice is this wasn't a management invention. The bands have been in contact on social media but met each other at a US festival. All members screamed like kids when they met each other. They actually like and admire each other. The Warning are all in their twenties and sisters.and have been playing since they were young kids. Band Maid have five members all in their thirties and have been together for 11 years. In other words both bands know what they are doing and do it well. We all have our favourite bands but as a genuine collaboration. This was a true meeting that made a true Super Group. I am sure that time permitting they will do it again.

Asking for a suggestion is a hard thing to do but try Evolve live from the MTV VMAs, or Hell You Call A Dream live at the Pepsi Center. Both bands did a great job on this.
The Warning are quickly gaining popularity, they’ve toured the UK with Muse and opened for Foo Fighters and Guns ‘N’ Roses in Mexico.
Next year they play Brixton Academy on April 17 2025.

Im a bit late to the reaction and I was looking through the comments to see what had not been said. One fun fact is that your t- shirt of Bring me the Horizon reminded me that David Bendeth who produced one of their albums, also produced The Warning's album Error. A great album with songs you should check out. Choke, Animosity, ERROR, Evolve to name a couple. Some of their latest music from their current album such as Automatic Sun, Hell you call a dream, Six feet deep are great. Older songs, Dust to Dust, Dull Knives, Survive, Queen of the murder scene. Were written as teenagers but are absolute bangers.

anything from The Warning is great because every song can stand on it's own but they arrange the songs on an album for a specific vibe.they started writing and first an EP called Escape The Mind was them finding a sound followed by XXI Century Blood and Queen Of The Murder Scene is a rock novel. found them after XXICB came out.
After they signed with Lava they released ERROR and Keep Me Fed.
TW also inspired an 11yo Quinn to learn guitar by learning QOTMS album and now at 17yo has a band called Freeze The Fall and is guitar/vocals along with 15yo Aria on bass/vocals and 16yo Jonah. FTF are now at about the same age as TW were when i found them 7yrs ago and i see greatness ahead. FTF's debut EP Thrones is a banger.

A great collaboration between two power house rock bands that just happen to be friends, too! I think you will like The Warning, as they are on a rocket trajectory to the top of the world! I would recommend starting with The Warnings original cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman", then their reimagining that song at their performance at the Teatro Metropolitan! I've seen both bands live and they sure deliver the goods! Different styles but rocking out by both bands!

Both The Warning and Band Maid are phenomenal. It's a no-brainer that The Warning are worth checking out. The Warning went viral when they were just 9, 12 and 14 years of age in 2014, when they covered Metallica in their basement for their grandparents. To hone their skills they did covers of Muse, the Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses, just to name a few. When they got older they opened for Muse, the Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses, just to name few. Metallica tasked them to rework Enter Sandman with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for the 30th anniversary Blacklist album. Check out the ‘go to intro’ song for The Warning, the song Evolve, live at the 2023 MTV VMA. They are inviting Band-Maid to perform with them in Mexico and will try to get them to sing in Spanish!
I love Band Maid. but The Warning are definitely my second goto band to get that fresh new rock feels I'm used to getting with Band Maid songs. They are a staple if you like what Band Maid does.

This awesome collab from Dany's opening wail to MISA's thumping bass at the end screams "GIRL POWER!" Wow! Collabs are notoriously hard as hell to pull off well. The two bands and the production crew NAILED IT! This video was so much damned fun! Beth thanks for reacting to it. In an interview with Kanami for PRS Guitar Japan, Dany hinted that another future collab between the two bands is in the works. Band-Maid and The Warning may be the new "Power Couple" in rock.

The Warning are 3 sisters from Mexico, and are on average about 10 years younger than Band Maid, and they have been a band for a little over 10 years. Their music is a unique blend of classic hard rock, heavy metal, punk and alternative, with catchy hooks and riffs, and often deep lyrics. They are fluent in English, and all but 3 of their 60 original songs are in English. Suggest any of their recent live performance videos on their channel. 👍😎
First, there was no dueling. I was at the show in Tokyo where they furst performed this song. When they took turns, we could see the admiration they had for each itger. They were not competing, they were celebrating each other.
You really must check out the Warning, a three sister powerhouse. Start with "Evolove" from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Trust me on this. I've now seen BM three times, and im going to see TW five times in four countries over the next few months.

I would say this song is a very good blend of both bands. I know this because my fellow Band Maid fans say this sounds like a Warning song, and all the Warning fans say it sounds like a Band Maid song.

I was at the show in Tokyo where they debuted this song. It was incredible. I was in tears.
I discovered Band-Maid late 2018 and The Warning early 2020. So, when they met at Aftershock festival in 2022 (you have to watch that meeting video!), it was all stars aligned for me. They instantly started talking about collaboration and there's one thing I learned: when Band-Maid speaks about something, you better listen because it will happen soon or later. And here it is 😎.

Funny you should say "consuming" the Warning has a new song from their new album Keep Me Fed that is called "Consume" you should check it out. Its on their You Tube channel.
Per the Billboard Japan interview, Miku and the Warning wrote the lyrics. The song started with a Kanami demo; both bands then worked back and forth on it until they came up with the final version that kept the "atmosphere" of the demo, according to Dany from the Warning.

Hi Beth from a bit south of Brum! I saw The Warning last year at Plymouth when they opened for Muse and 3 times this year at The 02 Brum, Maidfest at Maidstone and at Leeds a couple of weeks ago, if you like them they’re back next year but get in fast the tickets sell out very quickly!
Live is them at their best, studio is good but you just don’t feel their energy without seeing a live performance! If you want to see where they started find their cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman in 2014, 25+ million views to date, if you fancy the idea of doing a double take then there’s their performance of the same song but the one from the Blacklist album (Metallica’s covers album) at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, otherwise anything off their new album.
My current favourite song by The Warning is 'Automatic Sun' , but there’s plenty more to explore.

TW second album, written by then pre-/midteens, is a concept album called 'Queen Of The Murder Scene' aka QOTMS and is a masterpiece IMHO. TW are best appreciated live.

They decided to become rock stars because of the game 'Rock Band' which their parents gave them when Dany was about 8, Pau 6, and Ale was still to small to play, at 3 years old so she'd dance and clap while her two big sisters played. Dany picked guitar, Pau picked drums and they stuck with them. Their Dad saw how amazing Pau was with the drums and the next week he bought her a full-size kit and put her into lessons at the age of 6. When Ale got big enough (about 7) she decided she wanted to play the bass. They now have some of their own songs featured in Rock Band 4.
They have been 'The Warning' for just over 10 years. They gained notoriety when they posted a cover of Enter Sandman on RUclips which went viral. They were 14, 12 and 9 at the time. ruclips.net/video/1boUYB9LFJY/видео.html
Metallica saw the video, spurring Kirk Hammett to say, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" (again, Pau was 12 years old at the time and already played it as good a Lars).
They were since invited by Metallica to do a complete remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, for the 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, 'The Blacklist Album'. The only rule was 'Don't change the lyrics'. They rearranged, recorded and mastered the new version in just over a week, working remotely with Alessia in Canada, and The Warning in Mexico due to the pandemic. It is the first song on the album.

They stopped doing covers around 2015 when they produced their first original EP 'Escape The Mind', and only write original music. have 2 EPs and 4 albums. Their first EP and first two albums were crowd-funded as an indie band - MANY of the people commenting here were contributors. One of the albums is considered a masterpiece of work, called 'Queen of the Murder Scene' - a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness, and we can say the story does not end well for her. That was released in 2018. Dany was 18, Pau - 16, Ale - 13. The girls posted VLOGS explaining their creative process and the songs.
They signed with Lava Records (Republic) in 2020, and have since produced one EP and two albums with the latest, 'Keep Me Fed' being released on June 28, 2024,
They toured with Band-Maid earlier this year when they did the 'Show Them' collaboration together in Japan.
They've opened for 3 Days Grace, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Muse, Guns & Roses, and have played multiple festivals.
They have about 30 shows planned through the rest of 2024, including a headline US Tour, supporting Halestorm in Canada (and maybe some headlines there as well?)
Their superpower is LIVE. The concert from 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan is considered their 'gold standard' concert. Every song is amazing and the mix comes directly out of the equipment so the sound is spot-on with very little crowd noise.
