A great start! I've got a couple of tips for you. 1) When you share drawers, never have the same colour, or similar shapes in the same drawer. Try to put contrasting parts together. That way you are far less likely to make a mistake when you are picking orders. 2) Number your drawers with zeroes in them. So D0001 rather than D1. Otherwise the drawers won't sort right on picking lists or when you sort by remark in Brickstore.
Tip 1 is excellent because that seems counter-intuitive. Im sure loads of people put similar parts together. I dont understand what tip 2 means but ive never tried setting up a bricklink store (hopefully in the next few months) so that's probably why im clueless 🤷♂️😅
depending on your budget and storage space, I‘d recommend to use 2-3 different parts in each drawer compartment for small quantities at first, to save on storage costs. when you start to grow, you can buy more drawers and eventually have one drawer or compartment with one item only. as Jimmy Porter commented, pick items very different from each other to avoid mistakes during picking later. good luck mate and all the best for your journey
Got one order which is very good. Usually can take a while to get orders due to the lack of reviews etc. Plus I don’t have the most in my store compared to others 😁
Hi, good luck with your store. Nice content. If you haven't parted out the Aston Martin sets, you might consider keeping them to sell them later, or get a few more for selling as is when you can't find them in regular stores or online at retail price. This set is special as it's linked to a very famous franchise. It's also unlikely they release another 007 aston martin (unless as a bigger set like the mustang set). Good luck mate.
Great first video mate! YT recommended me your 13th vlog or something earlier which I loved so I’m going to start from here and binge your whole journey!
Good luck with the BL store, you’re off to a great start. Any recommendations I had have already been noted by other viewers. I’ve subbed and look forward to future content.
Hey there, thinking of stsrting up a brickowl store ive got about 65kg of lego to finish sorting, but i was wondering how do you know what to lavel each part and how does that run through the inventory system? Havent found many tutorials of how people actually determine what to call there seperate lots
I don’t use brickowl. I only use Bricklink but all the lots in my store, have their own draw which is noted in the Bricklink database so you know which piece is in what draw when packing orders etc
It’s been good up to around the summer when I kind of slowed down with it a bit because I’m focusing on my life choices as I am at that time in my life :) Once I build the UCS Venator I’m gonna add lots of new pieces to the store :)
Hi, good luck with your store. Don’t bother buying the drawer dividers, just cut some pieces of plastic from some empty milk bottles or fabric conditioner bottles. Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves😁 @wasdalegofan

Some great tips! I will start doing that with the draws from now on! May take a while but in the long term I think it will be worth it!
Thanks very much for the advice!

Which channels were you inspired by?
Pop's Block Shop, MandRProductions, Brick Arena were some of the main ones :D
Hey lad, thinking about starting my own BL shop as well. What was the programme you were using while sorting out those sets? GL
Thanks mate! I use brickstore! There are lots of guides on how to use it on RUclips! Good luck with your store!

Thank you so much :)
do you know what photo id bricklick accepts to sell, i have no valid passport and cannot find a list on bricklink of other photo id that you can use
Honestly I’m not sure because I used my passport as identification. Maybe a drivers license will work?
How’s business
