2 yrs later, watching endless Odette variations on YT- there is not a single ballerina who comes close to her in refinement, polish, weightlessness, vulnerability, and on being on music in this variation. Not one, and I've seen them all. She IS Odette, period. Is it mere coincidence that she'll be partnered by the lead principal of the Mariinsky ballet in the 2nd act love duet next week? What 18 (or 19 yr old) gets this chance? Timeless and exquisite.
Haven't seen this beautiful and heavenly Odette for a long time; not many world famous principal ballerinas (even in Russia) could do this well!! She didn't leave any little movement out of her absolute control: behold my eyes, unbelievable sight & talent! This can't be the junior level Int'l competition, her maturity & artistic expression are just unreal- she possesses quality like I saw in Ulyana Lopatkina. Yes, the STAR is born that the world has been awaiting & here's the witness of her geniusity!

Her Odetter is astonishing, those bourees after her split jump is one of those little details that even the top principals neglect. Omg, she is a true gem!
I agree absolutely. I have watched everything i can find of her dancing-i am no ballet expert but i am entranced when i watch her - even on a video on a tiny phone screen . I saw her Giselle and my very spirit was moved. I hope i get to see her dance in person. I wish that everyone could see her dance so they would understand the beauty and power of ballet.
