What an incredible story. I wouldn’t think it would be that hard to find a photo and info on person nowadays but I guess it was easier to be camera shy 21 years ago.
For sure...thank god for cell phones.
Not to take anything away from the searchers, but it seems that it would be almost impossible to exist nowadays without either a driver's license or a state-issued photo id.
@@nghtwtchmn129 Maybe they were "undocumented"?
@@jaminova_1969 Well, yeah, but the person in question here was American. I would think that, for example, he would want to claim his Social Security one day.
@@nghtwtchmn129 not always.
God bless that person who identified the missing photo
@Jay Zeromp wait for your turn
@Jay Zeromp wow you’re so edgy 🤦🏻♂️
@Jay Zeromp 😂😂😂😂
please don't drag god into this man-made tragedy.
@Jay Zeromp So ignorant and immature
But who is now the remaining person that has no photo? I wish they would have said that person's name, because maybe viewers could help provide a photo or links to someone who has one.
Let's just mention that and then completely fail to follow up on the information. I guess some people are forgotten.
witness protection perhaps, possibly an infant
He was Antonio Dorsey Pratt, he worked as staff for Cantor Fitzgerald. His photo has been found too. Now all 9/11 victims have their photo at the museum.
@@litoaz Thank you so much for telling us that! That's such good news!
@@litoaz Thanks for the update.
What this story leaves out is that Albert’s personal property was thrown out by his landlord after 9/11. So after his daughter went to collect his things everything was gone. Including any photos. It wasn’t just him not liking taking pictures.
I don't know if that makes me sad or angry. Both.
@@sweetiepielaraeangry because of a person who died in horrific tragedy was not even given respect after he died. I think the proper way was to box his belongings and make an effort to contact his surviving family.
@@richardsequeirateixeirathere is disgusting vile humans walking amongst us. I would have put his things in boxes and tried my best to reach a family member.
@@richardsequeirateixeirawhat if the landlord didn’t know he died in the World Trade Center it would be up to his family to notify them.
How did you find that out?
Albert will be remembered. This story really moved me. That is a beautiful thing they did! Sometimes all the crazy stuff going on in the world can really get me down but then seeing this story reminds me of what beautiful acts of kindness people are capable of. Let’s have more of that!

@@mrhappyfolger2721 wtf.
Perfectly said - thank you. As for the very first reply - people, let's not give any attention or reaction to the comment. Obviously they are a troll and want a response. Not today, Satan, not today.
@@mrhappyfolger2721wow, how edgy. You must be so cool
What a story! 21 years later Albert. We have not forgotten about you or anyone that left on that day.
🙏🙏🙏
Amen
Everyone wants to be remembered or at least to be acknowledged that they were there living, thriving, and existing.
So true. These people were here, and they mattered. I'm so happy they found his photo.
@@heathbar8015 They were Americans. 🇺🇲
@@KamalaHarris2024 Indeed. People just trying to get home to their loved ones after work. And that was taken from them. 💔
@@caminte that's a good point
as someone who is also camera shy, the thought of my picture being in a museum for, essentially, eternity (or whenever they take this tribute down) sounds absolutely awful to me.
Local historical records are so important to preserve. Even if he had no living decedents, he still mattered and deserves to have his story shared.
I tearing up wow. I feel so moved by this, this random worker just wanted to help and in the end it was successful. It’s beautiful how he was so focused and driven to find this man that he didn’t even know, it’s just incredible.
He wasn’t a random worker. He is a museum staff member. If there was a painting missing from the MET or an ancient Egyptian artifact missing from Cairo and a museum staff member (who likely has a background in history) set out to find it it’s because that is what people in that line of work do.
Heartwarming and bittersweet story.
agreed
Incredible story. I live in Romulus, MI so this really hits close to home. Glad Kathy was able to find his photo.
I needed this. Gives me hope for humanity.

@@mrhappyfolger2721 wtf.
It just touches me. They didn't have to care much less look. But they did. For every invisible, forgotten person in this hard world . . . thank you.
Thank you for this beautiful story, about finding Albert. I went to NYC in August 2017, and made a special visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
It was both emotional and overwhelming to tour the Museum and the Plaza, where the Towers stood. Even standing in front of the reflecting pools, with water flowing into the "voids", I couldn't comprehend that "THEY" weren't there. My mind filled in the missing buildings and I kept looking up! It stays with me 5 years later, and is difficult to talk about... 😢
RIP to those lost... 🙏
I kinda see the water quietly flowing sort of like their spiritual voices telling the living that they are at peace and wanting to give calm and serenity to their loved ones they left behind.
I have goosebumps!!! Thank you for finding him.
I came across this here on Sept 15, 2023 and this really touched my heart. What a wonderful man to do what he did to find a photo to put in the spot so no one forgets. If people today had the kindness and caring like this young man, wow, what a wonderful world we'd live in. God bless you and God bless the families that still hurt from this tragic day. #neverforget9/11
I wonder if they had added the name of the last remaining person without a photo, if someone would have come forward with it. It's heart wrenching that there is just that lone person without one.
I really don't know. I'll look into that. But yes, it is sad to not see a photo
@@sdigf3167 UMAIGUDNEZ this made me think n wonder should I come in forward n turn in my ex fiance's foto....to think for a long time I told him to take an early flight so he won't die in that event?!
This is an incredible story. Thank you to the man that cared enough to find this man’s photo and share his story, 20 years later. His legacy is secure. ❤ I’m so sorry he had to lose his life this way and he would have had absolutely no idea what it would mean for the world. But his story will now be remembered just like all the others. And that gives me hope.
A Highschool classmate of mine I had for a year, perished aged 25, in the Marsh McLennan office in WTC and his remains have never been recovered. I didn't know him that well, but I do remember him fondly as he helped me one day at school when I got sick and had to leave early.
In 2009, by sheer coincidence, my neighbor at the time was a friend of his family and his father, who I'd never met, rang my doorbell and asked if he could use my empty parking spot.
It was very nice to see the resemblance to his son, as he talked about David for a little while, referring to it all as "the accident". I don't think he noticed my 1980s poster of the Manhattan skyline, on the wall behind me, which was just as well. I came to understand why he called it an accident. David had only arrived back from Europe to NYC as close as September 9.
I let him use my parking spot as I'd just sold my car. It was for sure the very least I could do for him. I still have that poster on the wall, which is now older than the Twin Towers ever became themselves.
I wanted to know more about this person and what happened to his poor widow. Although he's described as camera shy, this was a lovely mission of remembrance.
Regarding the last missing image... it has already been solved like 2 months ago. I just search on RUclips "missing image of 9/11 victim." So, don't worry... everyone has a photo!
Thank you for posting
@@Amethyst_Dragon_ His name was Antonio Dorsey Pratt.
I went today and I sadly saw one leaf!
@@chispydoot5371Some family members have requested that their loved one’s photos not be included. I have no idea why they don’t want their photos displayed, but the museum respects their wishes.
I was at the memorial a few weeks ago. It was my first trip to the US. Definitely the most powerful memorial I have ever seen. The gallery with everyone's stories was heartbreaking 💔
Family is not always blood related. There are people that care about you
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a male say this once in my life
Even though this story is a year old, this really brought tears to my eyes! 😢 What a thoughtful and generous thing to do by this young man who works at the 9/11 memorial. Sir, you should be commended! RIP to Mr. Ogletree and the thousands of other beautiful souls we not only lost that day, but those we have lost SINCE, due to the 9/11 dust. ❤
As a Michigander, it’s rare for me to hear about close connections like this to the event. Knowing this helped me view the event from a different perspective and helped me gain more understanding for what and who was lost that day.
So many beautiful stories came out of this tragedy. To Albert and all the victims, may you all rest peacefully for eternity
What about the other person? It seems there's only one unidentified person left, right?
That’s what I wanted to know. We could share a post on Facebook and find that pic.
It was Antonio Dorsey Pratt.
@@sevengo6652 I read a few months ago on the dailymail they found his photo. I believe it was over the summer.
they found that one in the summer all victims have photso now
Actually there is 3 photos missing but the families of those 3 preferred to not have pictures of them in the museum
I still haven't been to visit, but I'd love to go see the photo of my uncle. He was in the north tower. This was an amazing story and I'll be thinking of this man for a long time now.
Albert was your uncle?
What a fantastic story. Thank you Albert for working and feeding the employees who he passed with in the towers. I'm sure a lot of what he had done in his life has gone un recognized. Next time I got home to CT and am in NYC I'm gonna have to make sure to go find his name and picture
Wow. Bless this man. Rest well, Albert and all who perished that awful day.

Wow this "kindness" was so beautiful to see.

Beautiful story and how amazing for that young man to set out to find Albert's photo. 🙏💙
this is strange. so apparently he didn't graduate from high school and no other photograph of him exists. It isn't like we had a choice of not getting our photos taken, but apparently he obviously hated it so much that he only had that one photograph. He likely has relatives but apparently they didn't care to keep his photographs or they were thrown out after being the last member of his family. Other than his step daughter, which also seems strange since if he was in touch with her, why not take a photograph with each other. Very strange.
I’m sure you know the whole story
kindness goes such a long way!
Absolutely outstanding.
Very dear man to make such a promise and at long last…

The 2nd one was Antonio Dorsey Pratt, their picture has since been found
What a wonderful story. And great detective work on the part of that young man.
The best story! Have they found a photo for the other person yet. Also loved how his step daughter shared what kind of man he was.
thanks for not giving up
I'm glad he's being honored, a part of me I can't help thinking what Mr. Ogletree would have wanted his legacy to be and what was he like? Was it just being camera shy? Was he as retiring in life as well? Wherever he is, that he's remembered is probably enough for him. May he and the others rest in peace.
