Great voice for the song this man has and i say that as an Irishman in Tipperary, Some of my relations died in the rebellion in 1798 that the song is about an this man does great credit to the song
charliezahm: I saw Charlie for the first time when he was in concert March 16, 2018. I was so impressed at his powerful voice and how he sings every song with such conviction. I pictured in my mind what Charlie was singing about. I'm looking forward to his next concert when he's in the area. Thank you Charlie!!
This is the best rendition of The Minstrel Boy that I have ever heard. You are truly gifted and have an amazing voice, by God's leave. You sang this piece with real heart and the sentiment is permeating through your voice. Thank you!
I loved this song since hearing Richard Harris sing it in "Major Dundee" when I was a lad. Even Sean Connery and Micheal Caine leading a Kafiristan marching band playing it in "The Man Who Would Be King" had a certain charm, (Shanais..brrrr it actually sounded like a feral cat fight) up to Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien) singing it in Star Trek,Next Gen. Old Tom Moore would be very proud of this one.
The lady accompanying Charlie? Would that, by any chance, be the actress Hollie Horan who always appeared playing the drums in the old "Happy Days" series? Looks very much like her, allowing for the time frame?
Charlie sang this song at my father's memorial. He carried our hearts.
By far... the greatest rendition of "The Minstrel Boy" I've ever heard. God has gifted you with a beautiful voice and amazing talent.
