It's the same process that's in this video, ruclips.net/video/q6_pWifXKcQ/видео.html, just add the other variable with each 2nd term in the parentheses. You can then multiply your factorization to confirm it's correct.

Finding the LCD, then getting equivalent fractions would be the priority before factoring the numerator.
