Thank you Malcolm, another gorgeous little gem of a painting which keeps one inspired to create. As someone else commented, you just want to walk that road. You’ve captured the atmosphere perfectly.😘
Thank you Malcolm, for this beautiful color study. You have shown, how small color studies are important to get to know your subject. Thanks for sharing .😊❤
Thank you Malcolm! It's always very pleasant to watch how your studies are creating so skillfully and quickly ! Sometimes I like one of my small studies, but when I try a larger painting of the same scene,it turns out completely different and is never good enough. Practice, practice, practice😅
Thanks for this Malcolm. Love watching you paint! From Melbourne, Australia, the Victorian buildings here are so beautiful and there are a lot of them 😊
@user-kc7mu4jp4p Yes I mostly keep it loose to avoid getting into a tight painting. Occasionally I use a pencil but will go over that with a loose painted block in anyway.
Thank you Malcolm for this beautiful color study❤
You are very welcome
In Australia we call this architecture style Federation style based on when Australia was founded.

So beautiful, Malcolm! Thank you for sharing the colour study. It was a great lesson for artists like me that always rush into the bigger version😂❤❤❤
Thanks Nataly 😊
Thank you. Lots of things to think about there. Especially for the new year projects.
It's a pleasure, thank you
What medium do you use?
Only a little spirits to draw the initial composition. I like Zest-It as its non-toxic. From there no mediums are used.
