Thanks! At the price it was at I HAD to. Honestly can't ever see myself buying a modern Gold Eagle over a pre-33 double eagle. The history is well worth the slight underweight ounce to me
The St. Helena bars are nice looking, but if you’re buying those 10 oz bars for the weight, then you should probably be buying the most generic 10 oz bar in order to get the lowest cost. Dealers will pay you the exact same thing for those bars, as they would a generic Silvertowne bar. If it’s the collection that you’re adding to with those bars, then enjoy.
Do you think its the process of melting the sliver into the bars are making them look beatup? Idk the process but I know in some cases that they use a type of sand like substance to make some molds when it comes to hot metal.
Beautiful St. Gauden's!!! Congratulations, you got a good one for being a random.
Definitely my new favorite piece
Hell of an unboxing, wow. Love the double eagle 🤩

It's a "rectangular coin" that's cheaper than sunshine mint or silvertowne bars, and better looking as well.
I like the gold its shiny. Great Pick Ups
Thanks!
You got a random St. Gaudens, Rookie Stacker is going to be so jealous.
LOL had to get the iconic design in its original constitutional gold form!

I think it's possible! Just can't tell for sure but they seem mashed
Good review
