Masha’Allah Happy birthday sweet baby! Leena, as a childcare practitioner, I would suggest you get some bright and colourful toys, posters and soft furnishings for your children’s bedroom. Kids need colour to stimulate their hand eye coordination, verbal and creativity skills amongst other aspects. You probably know why childcare settings are full of colour! Having lovely green plants around the house is great too.

Another comment about colour… sorry I’m leaving another comment about children surrounded by colour. I know leena likes the white/ beige aesthetic for her home and personal choice. It’s fine because I like a minimalist look, but when my kids were little I had a colourful house! I didn’t think white balloons were great for a baby’s birthday I think pastel colours would have suited if you don’t like bright pops of colour

Heyy Leena!! Hope you have an amazing Eid!! Maybe what I could say is like you said try bring the gym to your home!!! Bring it to life, collect the tools you need, make your own plan to suit your style and time and maybe giving yourself that control to be able to do what you need and have the tools right in front of you, it might spark your motivation again and help you stay consistent. And also maybe time yourself how long you spend or take a note in a journal on how much you did that day like a mini self reflection, like did you like the style, would you might have wanted to do ‘x’ exercise for longer and that may help you to build a routine to stay consistent to and seeing your progress on paper might make you feel happier and motivated to carry on and accomplish your target? Maybe that could work? But also remember take it easy and remember life is not like a straight line and we have our bumps so doing beat yourself about it if you miss a day or just completely stop, it’s about restarting and being consistent to carry on that really counts always ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi leena,hope you and your family are fine.i saw on your ig that u are going to stpp showing your kids faces.i would actually afvice u to not show them at all.because if you close the face.evil eye doesnt just affect the face rather the whole body.if you close the face what about the chubby body,the fair skin golden hair masha allah tabarakallah.its completely baseless closing the face while the whole body is out there and they will still get affected nevertheless.so i will advise you to stick to your daily azkars for both u and the kids because in this life its not your ways but Allah's only he can protect u and u do your own side of it by just aviod putting them on here at all.and pray pray pray for allhs protection.if they arent on social media.u will take them out to groceries,wedding,school,vacation,work and many moree.people will also visit u home.its not like evil eye just exist here on social media only.yhe same people behind their phones are the ones living out there.its not like humans only exist on social M while robots live in real life.may allah giide us all ameen.

Also love that you diy balloon arch. I think expensive kid birthdays are overrated and in particular the balloon arch is a bit of a waste of $/time/ and not good for the environment. I highly suggest looking on fb for purchasing/recycling ones from other parties. Many people give away for free for older kids parties.

You really need to look into history of the birthdays, especially the song.
My dearest sister in Islam, in a believer’s life, you will find Allah ﷻ will send a him or her countless signs calling them to His Pleasure, and to The Path that will earn His Pleasure. I sincerely counsel you to take some fiqh, Islamic essentials, or alimiyyah classes to learn what is the true purpose of the hijab and how it should be observed. You are an example to millions of youth, dearest Leena. And before Allah ﷻ you will be accountable for the example you have set for them. May Allah ﷻ increase you in Haya’ and His Love, always 🤲Ameen.
Celebrating birthdays has no basis in the shari’ah. Rather, it's an innovation. Birthday celebration involves imitation of the Western culture. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
If celebrating birthdays was okay, then whose birthday is the most worthy of being celebrated in the whole world other than the Prophet Pbuh. But neither did the Prophet nor the Sahaba celebrate it. In fact, Prophet Pbuh fasted on Mondays, the day he was born. Fasting and feasting are two opposite things. Birthday celebrations involve feasting. While fasting is an act of worship where you abstain from food and drink, that is why we are prohibited from fasting on Eids because Eid is a day of feasting, not fasting.
As Muslims, we celebrate only two Eids, Eid ul-fitr and Eid ul-Adh-ha. During these two festivals, we offer alms, spread joy, and entertain children. But more importantly, we offer remember Allah, thank for the blessings He has given, celebrate His name, and offer the Eid salaat (prayer). So, the two Eids are the two occasions that we celebrate every year.
Of course, there are other joyous occasions for which the Islamic shariah dictates appropriate celebration, such as gathering for special meals during weddings or on the occasion of the birth of a child (aqeeqah). However, these days are not specified as particular days in the year; rather, they are celebrated as they happen in the course of a Muslims life. We can see from the life of the Prophet Pbuh and Sahaba that their weddings were occasions of happiness shown within the limits of shariah and nothing more than that! And they did NOT celebrate birthdays at all ❤

Our Prophet (pbuh) followed whatever Arab culture followed at the time, he did not invent clothing, he wore what Arabs were wearing at the time. This tells us it is ok to follow what your culture offers you, as long as it does not contradict our beliefs. Allah gave us intellect, celebrating birthdays within limits has nothing to do with shirk or something against Allah’s will or dishonoring Islam. So if our prophet (pbuh) never flew on a plane or rode on a car, does that mean riding on these are haram? No. My heart breaks when I see how backward direction we Muslims are going with such a weak iman. We should fear Allah, he gave us common sense, that is why in various verses He asks the believers the question “Don’t you see?” “Don’t you think?” “Have you got no sense?”
With respect, we should stop worrying about these petty foolish things and focus on being a good human being, where we can live harmoniously and not being judgmental on every single topic. Let kids have fun on their birthdays, receiving beautiful gifts, meeting families and friends etc. We can teach them disciplines and how to behave within limits in birthdays. But we should not label them as “not permissible”. I pray 5 times a day, my parents always celebrated my birthdays, not a single instance I recall somehow I missed my prayer because of birthday celebrations, instead people prayed for me with dua in the greeting cards. It was totally harmless from my religious point of view. There is nothing wrong with making someone feel special on their birthdays and show them everyone cares about them.
