- For this install we added 1 14" wavy tape extensions. We colored the hair to match her hair, these extensions are reusable and can be washed and styled every two weeks for 6 to 10 weeks. Amen to that, it takes me 4 hours to do mine. Washing it, deep conditioning it, blowing it ( which I have got to get a better blow dryer because my hair has gotten longer and thicker, down my back. I'm a natural Girl of course😊❤️ ). Then, there's the sectioning of the hair to flat iron it. So, yes it's a process, but it keeps retention and length. I have to get a better blow dryer with a pik attachment to cut the time in half.
Hers didn't take 6 minutes to do either

I would love to do this but I’m scared of the extensions pulling out my hair every time I get it done, eventually making my hair thin and have bald spots.
I get these installed on my genetically thin hair..not by her( I wish) but I have not had any breakage the remover my hairdresser uses they slid right out with a little adhesive left behind. I’ve been getting them for almost a year.

I have used tape ins for years on and off (no pun intended) and the only hair I have ever “lost” is what would have come out naturally had I been able to brush it. The best way IMO to keep YOU OWN HAIR healthy and IN YOUR HEAD!!! The remover, again IMO, didn’t matter as much as soaking it and being patient in how long you let it sit and getting it in between the “sandwiches” of the tape ins. Love em! (Agree on the hair cut being needed BEFORE the installation of tape ins….) AMAAAAAZING job though. Pure talent!!!

What type of blow dryer are you using and where to get it? It takes forever for me to blow dry my hair, it's long and thick. It takes up a lot of time just for to do it after washing it.🙄😴

Wondered that too how can straight hair and wavy hair be same length after client washes.
I guess is for precision, wavy/curly hair can be tricky to cut. So, to get the best out it better dry it. In my country the stylist give a blow-dry which is different than this style and the hair end straight without silk press, then process to cut.

Cant see the point of getting extensions when she already has lot of hair and could have achieved same result. Waste of money.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the client's hair was not in the most healthy state initially and you put too much heat in it. I'm not a hair expert and not trying to offend anybody. This is more of a question than a statement
i go once a year to salon cuz all hair dressers pull my hair they do this day in n day out n tug they say there gentle but they don’t realize they do so i always endure so that’s why i go 1 once a year for a cut - some section the hair out and use butterfly’s to hold the hair n they put n scratch my scalp with the butterfly 🦋
You need to explain to them very clearly that your scalp is extra tender and sensitive. Tell them you only go when you have too because it’s too painful. Going to the salon is supposed to be a good experience. Stand up for yourself. My head is not sensitive. They can pull my hair and it doesn’t hurt. You have to firmly tell them. Otherwise they don’t know.

Actually tape in should only be installed on natural hair
