Yes Lord, that pressing comb, I totally remember the pressing comb. I loved my results of the pressing comb, I just don't like the process. Holding your ear, ducking and dodging and carrying on. 😂 😂

No she doesn't. After that roller set, no more heat needs to be put on the hair. This type of flat ironing will damage the hair overtime.

@@Liz-ic6jb I was actually surprised that she flat ironed it. It wasn't necessary. I think this was the 1st time doing this young lady's hair because as you mentioned, over time all this heat damages hair. And this baby has healthy hair. I hope no damage occurred

I agree. The stylist is over-combing, and also with the fingers - most of the curl was out towards the end. Beautiful nonetheless, but too much raking through the hair.

In Michigan, Detroit area it is hard to find hairdressers who can do roller sets. In the South, hairdressers seem more versatile. I was in Detroit and asked SEVERAL BLACK hairdressers to do a roller set, and they looked at me as if I had two heads. Crazy !!!
