I am glad you reported that I just got a thumbs up 👍 and I really think 🤔 u are due for an elf total face of new and holy grail products 😀 I LOVE ELF remember that I told you about most of my makeup is elf and I don't use their lipsticks except for the ride or die lip balms I wear milani lipsticks the new ones and they are very nice quality and I also now because of u I use milani eye shadow primer and I always have the original setting sprays from milani 2 I think that u should invest in your lip liners from nyx. Someone mentioned LA Girl as a one brand tutorial and I second that. I have come across some true gems from that brand and they are super affordable. My favorite brow pencil is that $2 e.l.f. one in the white tube. I feel like that is in between a super skinny and tear drop shaped one. My brows are left over from the 90's so I just have a couple of spots to fill in on each brow and that one works perfectly for what I need.
I've been trying out the green concealer from L.A. Girl to mix in with my foundations (for all the olive toned people out there) and it works really well. I would like to see more of the brand as well!

That jelly type shadow from the Coffee palette is great as a booster for the shimmer shades sort of like when you wet your brush to make a shimmer more glowy. Just barely tap your finger with the product on your lid then apply the shimmers and it gives the shimmers a nice boost and it’s not sticky it works essentially like a glitter glue ..

This turned out to be a pretty look. If I didn't know better I would think you got that look from the Urban Decay Wild West palette
*Please do a Revlon full face. Their Colorstay line is great, the cream eyeshadows will stay put after swimming 😍 and will not crease. The highlighter SKINLIGHTS in the shade "Daybreak glimmer" is a dupe for Anastasia Amrezy. Apparently their fierce mascara are awesome, I haven't tried those but have heard them mentioned on youtube.*
*For staying power in the lower lash line, apply the milani eyeshadow primer also under your lower lashline.*
That flat foundation/blending brush from Essence works perfectly for Elf putty blushes. It is just the right size, and density, to get in the small blush containers, and just stiff enough to stipple the blush on the cheeks. I’m going to pick up a couple more of those brushes. I have the Paris, and Berlin eyeshadow palettes and absolutely love them. I can’t wait to get the other palettes in this brand. They are the perfect size for me…not too big and not too small.

8. IT Superhero mascara (not on the affordable side, but amazing!)

I have normal/dry combo 56 y/o skin and the essence pretty natural foundation is a huge favorite for me. On my skin, it beats all the others in its category hands down, hi-low end price point. I pair it with their moisturizing primer and it wears very well. I appreciate that it has zero spf and neither products interfere with my spf which is the last layer of my skincare before makeup. I find both products go on best with fingers and the foundation shades are very forgiving without oxidation. Just goes to show that we all may have different experiences with different products. Your story about Bubba talking was so cute! I was on an evening tour bus in Washington, DC this past week. Almost everyone got off and back on the bus several times at the different stops. At one stop I was already seated when a 2 year-old boy and his parents got on. The bus driver was taking a break at that moment, so her seat was empty. All of a sudden I heard this little piping voice say excitedly, "I SIT! I SIT!!"
I didn't know what was happening until I heard his mother chuckle and say, "No, Son. You can't drive the bus."
I burst into laughter, as did almost everyone who heard that conversation. It was priceless!

With the darker lighting. And I still come back. I really like Essence products but sometimes I feel they are a hit or miss. I agree with you on the foundation I would pick the Wet and Wild 😜. I picked up the Roma eyeshadow palette 🎨 you used today because of that mint green . Please don’t stop 🛑 using the fun silly word’s like goopy sometimes their no other word’s to describe but goopy 😂. The bronzer seems awfully warm toned for a contour, almost looked like a blush, but of course that isnt Emilys fault!! Agree that essence blushes are great. Have a great holiday weekend
I agree that particular shade is definitely on the warmer side (my camera also pulls that color out a bit more) - but somehow in the end it seems to work! :D
I can say that I've not had a wear problem with the Pretty Natural foundation (normal, slightly dry skin type) over any of my primers. I have the ELF Power Grip, Neutrogina SPF and the Laura Gellar Mattify Spackle Primer. Then again, I aim for lighter coverage than you tend to since any coverage I put on looks higher coverage than it actually is because my skin is pretty good to begin with.

I have and enjoy many Essence products. The mascaras are great. I've become obsessed with their blushlighters, they are so pretty! The little six pan eyeshadow palettes are nice for travel. I also like their lip glosses and nail polish.
Emily if you want better stay power for under shadow put a little eye primer under the eye also. I just put the last little bit on my fingers after doing the lid and it’s made a huge difference.
How lovely to see a coloured eye shadow look - the 'nude look' is lovely too, but everyone seems to be doing the same thing and it makes a nice change to see different looks as well as those.

Oh. That concealer was in my declutter pile and now is one of my favourites. I have normal skin with an oily nose. Every time I used that concealer it looked heavy. Then my daily moisturizer ran out and I used my night time heavy cream (Nivea soft- white 200 ml jar). With it this concealer looked flawless and stayed all day.😍 I put a triangle of it under my eyes and blend it on the centre of my face. It matches my skin tone perfectly so I don't use any foundation.☺️
I dug out one of those beads (with a toothpick) under the clear gel in the Coffee palette, and it’s a shimmery copper shade. It’s cute if you apply it with your finger as it obviously feels like a cream shadow. Just smash the bead on the back of your hand and mix it around with whatever clear gel came out clinging to the bead
Oh I love that Essence bronzer brush!! I got that months ago and it’s the only bronzer I’ve been using because it’s so good!!

I haven't tried a full face, and I appreciate you demonstrating it for us! I used to also use peach colored eye shadows when I was a teenager (also the iced whites and baby blues from the 90s 😅), and I hadn't thought of that in years. I actually way prefer cool tones with my complexion, but I sure did use that peach! 😆

I needed a new clear brow gel (mine was OLD and I could tell...) so I got NYX Control Freak based on yours (and others) recommendations and OMG it's amazing! I LOVE how there isn't a ton of product on the brush. I do wish the brush was a bit smaller for my brows, BUT I also gave it a whirl as a lash primer (at the recommendation of a Pinterest follow) and it was so good! I brushed and curled my lashes, applied the NYX brow gel and let it dry for about 30-45 seconds, then applied my mascara and it was so good! I love affordable, multi-tasking products! :)

Have you seen the essence new 16hr face powder and jelly gripping primer? I bought them and a bunch of other new essence makeup. The face powder is really nice if you use it as a setting powder. It’s transfer and waterproof, also slightly matte but I have been absolutely loving it on my skin lately.
Also the new the highlighter is beautiful and for 3.99 it’s beautiful and a decent size too I have the lightest shade and the pink shade is beautiful. The pink shade isn’t as dark as it appears online.

I've been dealing with psoriasis. Came out of no where. I'm 29 ugh. So it got me into clean/vegan products. Would you be interested in doing an all clean makeup look or a clean/vegan brand review??

I have oily/combo/normal-to-dry eczema cheeks & love foundation. Stays on well, even w/mask. Never got patchy.
One thing I found, for those of us who can't or won't throw away a product, (I use very lt. concealer), is to put concealer on freshly applied moisturizer, esp lower eyelids.

Totally agree about how hard it is to determine color of lip 💋 liners. Even watching RUclips on my phone 📱. Appreciate when color is described.

My favorite brow pencil is the It Cosmetics original Brow Power. It’s thin, but not skinny, and the universal taupe shade is perfect for me. I do have other brow products, but I always go back to the It.

There's a brand of (mostly) cream products on ulta called Ere Perez. I've tried their cream blushes in a pot and LOVE them. Maybe a 1 brand tutorial from them? I know they don't have very many products but it would still be amazing seeing a youtuber spotlight these products bc I've never heard anyone talk about them!

Essence also has a watermelon glow serum primer with niacinimide. Could you test to see if it’s a due for the glow recipe watermelon dew drops?
I also felt that a peachy or light warm rosy toned shadow on the browbone coordinated the eye look with the rest of the face makeup. Sometimes I'd just use my blush there to achieve that. I like the Roma palette! Those 3 in 1 blush bronze highlighters remind me of an older Wet n Wild product that had squiggles of color in it but basically translated as a highlighting powder product. I'm not even sure they still make those but I know I ordered one within the last 2 years from Ulta on Miss M's endorsement of it... they had cute cocktail names for the shade names if memory correctly serves me. And I believe Essence has super performing tinted brow mascaras. My only problem with Essence (which isn't so much of a problem given their price point is so very reasonable for their product quality) is that I often have to purchase 2 of something like the tinted moisturizer or tinted brow mascaras to mix and obtain my best shade match. Terrific video and I'm interested in checking out the brushes and the lip liners.
