One real help to deal with performance issues in FL is to decrease the PPC in project settings. I‘m talking about an improvement from being unable to play a 60+ track project to smooth performance. I think that especially for beat producers detailed editing isn‘t as important as playback once a project brings your CPU down. When you apply that trick, you essentially just decrease the resolution of your playlist window, which means that you‘ll not be able to move and chop the content inside your playlist window so accurately.
Ah finally a video that had some things that I havent done. Most videos just give the same info and those havent helped me with my buffer underruns caused by Serum. I realized I didnt have the allow threaded processing selected @ Serum. Now I just need to somehow find out if it worked out, but currently I dont think I have any projects with issues.
