  • These walks are about noticing changes and celebrating the amazing natural rhythm of the landscape and its transformation. I am back at Carn Brea and it all looks very different at the end now… the bracken plays a big part in the feel of the landscape here… from the vibrant green that it is now to the deep rich burnt sienna colour of Autumn and winter…
I am sorry there are parts of the video where there is a lot of wind noise but it kind of goes with the place and the contrast between the bottom of the hill and the top is always marked by the amount of wind noise!
I hope you enjoyed the walk and are able to get out and celebrate the changes in the landscape in your area.
Each of these walks are being revisited throughout the year so that you can see how they change. Please let me know if there is anything you would particularly like to hear more about. All of my artwork and writing is inspired by my surroundings.
You can find my artwork and many projects on my website www.impression... including botanical monoprinting, painting, drawing, illustration and printmaking. If you have any questions or queries do feel free to pop a comment below and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
Until next time …. I would be very grateful if you would subscribe of course thank you...

Delightful! It was a lovely walk around and the wind wasn't bothersome at all, in fact it helped create the feeling of being there. Thank you for sharing this.
