You don't get much for $600 these days. Arrow has an Elite model 10X12 that sells for $1600. The sheet metal in it is thicker and it is just better quality.
Yeah I'm dealing with the same things. I ordered a 10 x 10 shed and while waiting I built a 10 x 10 base only to get a shed that was 10x 8.6 so got to change that and then there is no manual. Good Grief....I should have just stick framed one.
I purchased the 10 x 8 thinking it would be a lot cheaper than buying wood. Boy was I wrong. The holes didn't line up, one of the side panels were too big and after struggling to make it work the roof panels did not go together easily! I wish I had looked at the reviews before I purchased it. Or, I should have put it back in the box at the first time of trouble and brought it back to Lowes. But, like you sir, I'm not a dumb ass and know what I'm doing. This product is a piece of shit that I am now stuck with. Now I have to do some modifications to make it work!
Me and a friend just assembled 2 14x14 sheds by arrow to make 1 14x28. Yeah some of the holes didnt match up and it had alot of buckled panels. but after a week of sitting in the sun all the buckles are gone and its straight. and once the roof is on its rock solid
glad you made this arrow shed video, i was looking at these but i think i am better off with a carport and enclose it myself. i didn't realize the gauge of steel was that bad.
Even if you were to move it the frame remains the same so my thoughts ...and I'm sure you checked ...the bottom and top tracks may be overlapped to the wrong set of holes.
We checked everything 10x over called the company & the actual manufacturer. Everything was spot on. The actual manufacturer of the shed gave me BS approximate panel sizes. These panels are absolutely 100% for a different shed. I will never buy from them ever again.
Thanks bud. Yes the shed has had its issues. Certainly added to my level of patience tho. We tried everything checked & rechecked called the 1 800 # went over all measurements etc... Is what it is for now & certainly won't recommend or give any positive reviews lol. Heck yeah man when I start on them I will certainly upload vids.
"Steel frame" lol I keep looking at these because I really need a shed and these are relatively cheap, but every time I look at them I decide they aren't worth it. I think I'll just build my own wood shed.
One of the problems is the ribs get compressed if they have weight on them, like another shed box stacked on top at Lowe's. When the ribs get compressed it widens the panel maybe a 1/4". Multiply that by the number of panels and you can be way off real quick. Also, depending on temperature the panels are going to vary to allow for heating/cooling. You have to make the panels for the pre drilled holes align even if they bulge some. As stated, the biggest problem with these buildings is how hard they squeeze a dollar out of them. The gauge of the metal is a joke. I could use it to shave--not joking. They get damaged easily. I doubt anyone has put one together without causing some dent or ding.
I do alot of metal roofing. Anything manufactured with ribs in it is ment to stack together. These panels were off over 3 inches. .25 x 5 panels that's only 1.25 "
I purchased the Newport 10 x 8 shed and had nothing but heartache putting it together. Holes didn't line up and the doors will not open or close without using both hands and my back, straining. I double checked being square both base and sides. Everything square and used a level to make sure all was centered. Tried all 3 holes in the glides and still the doors bind somewhere. I would not recommend this product even if it was free. NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION!!!!

A carport is the way to go man..! Stay away from these..!!!
My roof panels middle screw holes are not matching the end roof panels I’m puzzled
Same. What did you do.
@@BLkamaji re-drilled my own holes filled the others with caulk
The water will run down the walls ,run inside at the bottom and destroy your floor,,

Nice to hear from you. Sucks about the shed it’s just easier to blame the consumer.Get well hope to see some vids on the go kart or minibike.👍🏻👍🏻

@@houseoffire72 check my comment above...I am normally a peaceful patient man, but this shed has had me cursing like a drunken sailor on shore leave.

that gauge is definitely thinner than the duct metal panel I pop-riveted to the bottom half of my rear car door. Holding up great!!

Pure junk
It doesn't add up. As a Homebuilder things should jive when purchasing a manufactured product. Sloppy production makes for a Sloppy finished product.
Exactly
Thank you. I will NOT buy from that company anymore.
Your welcome
Stupid shed! All that quality work in the floor just to be covered by a turd. You’ll make it work though. You always do.
Thanks buddy
Thanks for the video
Your very welcome Josh
Typical B.S. Thank you I have not opened my box. Will return it tomorrow.
Maybe mine is a fluke but I doubt it after hearing so many bad experiences.
Thanks for sharing, hope you pick back up on the pyro scene!
