Oh wow, I didn't know that Animal Wonders doesn't support you and Augusto right now! That makes all the work you put in that much more impressive and overwhelming to me. Thank you for working so hard for the animals, and I hope you're able to transition to Animal Wonders providing income for your family soon!
Thanks for doing this video! After discovering a family of red foxes living in a small thicket at the back of our suburban yard, I got on RUclips to learn more about foxes. I was immediately captivated by the content, as well as by Jessi's engaging personality and charisma. I commented to my wife and kids that Jessi's presence, passion and energy for the animals is a big part of the formula that make these videos unique and fun to watch. Learning that Augusto is also fully dedicated to the Animals Wonders mission, and that the two of you put this thing together by yourselves, was inspiring to me from a business/life balance perspective, and I'm sure it will be for others, as well. My oldest daughter, for instance, is a college freshman studying Journalism; she's also really into animals, and has been throughout her life. For my daughter, Animal Wonders serves as a great example of what's possible when young people work hard and remain committed to their ideals. Congratulations and best of luck moving forward!
Good video until... back this crazy train up... are you saying you also have another job? If this is the case, may I ask how you obtained a Time-Turner? I heard the Ministry of Magic is pretty strict about those.
This is such a wonderful channel I've yet to see a bad video. Not only do you give a lot of info about the animals but you explain how you guys care for them as well. Keep up the awesome work!!
I'm guessing silly frog just wants to be face-to-face with the awesome woman who cares for him. Thank you so much, Jessi, for sharing this history, and answering my question about the licenses. I actually got a little emotional due to the sheer amount of love and commitment and passion you convey. Long may you continue!
It is interesting that your schooling would seem to lend to this youtube format quite well. What luck! Glad to see your passion here, despite not being geographically close at all. And of course Hank and his passion for education, while being a leader of sorts in this new media format.
You are amazing Jessi, and the rest of the Animal Wonders Montana! You are a blessing to mankind because you teach us how to respect animals and share all their wonders to us. And we can see your compassion and empathy to creatures that needs help and ask nothing in return.
This is great! Thanks for the perspective on this RUclips channel, really allows me to have an appreciation for everything you do and all you have done
I love your videos! This was my favorite video so far, I like the editing that was done :) I know that it's the point to get everything across as fast as possible, but I'm glad we get to see you slow down and breathe for a change! ❤️ From great falls!
Jesse, you're one of those people who simply makes the world a better place by you being on it. I have no doubt that you have your dark days but if display half the joy you show on camera in daily life. Then you would be pleasure to get to know.
I think your absolutely wonderful. I have rescued reptiles in uk for years but i have learnt a lot of things that i have wanted to know from your videos. Thank you all 😊
Not only a guide for Animal Wonders, you remind me, that a self employed / non-Profit Idea is very easy to vote for but very hard to work for :-) thanks for all the great Content ;-)
This is wonderful. It sounds like incredibly hard work, but it also sounds like a dream. I hope your human family is enjoying it too! I can't imagine how awesome it'd be to grow up around so many different animals! Good job with your lovely organization, and keep it up!
You are such an inspiration. You've made your dream come true, and I can only hope to become at least half as successful in my own animal-related dream.
in my opinion you have the best job in the world and would love to make myself a career like AnimalWonders, tho being in the UK I would have no idea where to start, or if it's even possible :/ love your channel :D keep up the amazing work
6:06 "ultimately we stuck with small medium-size animals" Bummer! I want to see her love on a baby cassowary or bring one in on Hank's debate scishow episodes
Holy Moly! I just realised just how much you and your husband look like Linda and Tulio from the film Rio...its uncanny! (mutantexis.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/blog-linda-e-tulio.jpg)
You guys are amazing, and I love that you are so passionate about what you do, but how would someone go about starting an animal rescue like you have set up?
I was wondering what degree(s) you held since I'm looking to work with wild animals, but I'm not really sure what I should do to finish my undergrad studies and then what to go to graduate school for.
If you think you want to work with animals, but haven't decided in what capacity yet. I would highly suggest that you start volunteering at any animal facility so you can get an idea of what type of work you'd like to do with animals. As far as a degree, I would suggest any kind of science degree like: zoology, biology, psychology, or anything that could be related to animals and the natural world. You don't necessarily need to go to grad school to get your foot in the door, unless you think you want to work in upper management positions at a larger facility like a big zoo.
Hi Jesse. I was asking that can you find animals like arctic foxes even in a different environment like montana. Also that you are an inspiration for different people who like animals
Hey Jessi! I am working towards my film degree at the moment; I'm in my third year. I would like to work with film but I am also aware that I have other interests, the main other interest being animals. Do you think it would be possible for me to find a job later on that could include my film skills and knowledge with being able to help animals?
I'm not sure exactly since I haven't traveled that path myself. My best advice would be to get some practical experience by volunteering or getting an internship at a facility that works with animals so you can beef up your resume. Good luck!
I work in the non-profit world, and this video sounds like a (very savvy and effective) pre-funding campaign announcement. Do I sense a Subbable page coming? I hope so! I've been watching y'all's videos for a while and wondering when you would be able to leverage them for more financial support of the work you do. I'm excited for y'all. (And my husband and I are in the stage where I'm working full time plus in the non-profit, and he's got another job plus doing non-profit. We're trying to get to the place where he can make that jump before we have kids.)
this is a beutifull video!! your pretty famous. wish you sucess and humblenes as your doing now rely good and your personalaty relly helps the chanel its sets you apart from other chanels. place your selfs in gods hands the oltimate creator, and youl have patiens for your animals pluse a good guide for your homosapien famaly.
I am incredibly curious what other job it is that you have since caring for all those critters seems like a pretty full time occupation. I'm assuming it's not something you'd like to share since otherwise you probably would've put it in the video; but that's INSANE. Kids, Animal Wonders, and a "day job"?
Sometimes I wish I was born in America for the opportunities like volunteering and internships that can be done there with animals. In the UK it's difficult to become a volunteer in something to do with animals, many places don't offer the opportunities and others are held back for insurance reasons, it's quite frustrating when you want a career that requires lots of practical experience, like working with animals >__< but oh well, just means when I eventually get there I'll hopefully have an inspiring story to tell!
So I have one question/small complaint about animal wonders. Why is your logo a monkey if you don't seem to work with any? It should be kimosabi or a cavi or something.
Kemosabe would be a great logo! The concept for the logo was created in 2009 before we had Kemosabe or any of our more "famous" animals. It's a reference to Peru where Augusto is from and also animals which is what we're all about. And we never really know, there may be a time when we need to take in a primate.
Oh wow, I didn't know that Animal Wonders doesn't support you and Augusto right now! That makes all the work you put in that much more impressive and overwhelming to me. Thank you for working so hard for the animals, and I hope you're able to transition to Animal Wonders providing income for your family soon!
you've such a story telling quality about your voice and accent. its comforting. i wish you did audio books for children

I literally cried watching this video. Man you people do lovely stuff worthy of recognition.
This is so good to watch as a relatively new viewer, in 2020! (been watching for 6 months at least)
Good video until... back this crazy train up... are you saying you also have another job? If this is the case, may I ask how you obtained a Time-Turner? I heard the Ministry of Magic is pretty strict about those.
Imagine what could be done with even more hours in a day!
...and part-time youtuber :s
And they have kids... Basically she has like 5 full time jobs... insanity
Or the Doctor could've lent Jessi his TARDIS every once in a while.
ShadeSlayer1911 This is a viable theory that cannot be overlooked :)
This is such a wonderful channel I've yet to see a bad video. Not only do you give a lot of info about the animals but you explain how you guys care for them as well. Keep up the awesome work!!

Jessi reminds me of Eliza Thornberry a bit. Love to Jessi and her animal friends!
Oooo or a slightly more grounded Ms frizzle
This is great! Thanks for the perspective on this RUclips channel, really allows me to have an appreciation for everything you do and all you have done
I love your videos! This was my favorite video so far, I like the editing that was done :) I know that it's the point to get everything across as fast as possible, but I'm glad we get to see you slow down and breathe for a change! ❤️ From great falls!
I love these videos and I am so happy to see someone do what makes them happy. Not just for you but for the animals! Thank you for sharing. :)
I love how Jessi eventually ditches the fake book for animals and hand motions.
??
Jesse, you're one of those people who simply makes the world a better place by you being on it. I have no doubt that you have your dark days but if display half the joy you show on camera in daily life. Then you would be pleasure to get to know.
These are so great! Thanks for all you do!!
I think your absolutely wonderful. I have rescued reptiles in uk for years but i have learnt a lot of things that i have wanted to know from your videos. Thank you all 😊
Amazing story!! I love you Jessi, you're so inspiring💕
Not only a guide for Animal Wonders, you remind me, that a self employed / non-Profit Idea is very easy to vote for but very hard to work for :-)

This is wonderful. It sounds like incredibly hard work, but it also sounds like a dream. I hope your human family is enjoying it too! I can't imagine how awesome it'd be to grow up around so many different animals!
Good job with your lovely organization, and keep it up!
Loved hearing your story. Also loved the conure in the background at 5:45

You are such an inspiration. You've made your dream come true, and I can only hope to become at least half as successful in my own animal-related dream.

6:06 "ultimately we stuck with small medium-size animals"
Bummer!

Wow... Keen eyes... Just mind blown when I saw this comment and the link :-O
You are an inspiration.
This was a very lovely video.
You guys rock!
You guys are amazing, and I love that you are so passionate about what you do, but how would someone go about starting an animal rescue like you have set up?
Obviously, he is answering the question "Who Watches The Watchers?" He does! :-D
Where is animal wonders? Im really excited to see it can you please tell me where it is?
I was wondering what degree(s) you held since I'm looking to work with wild animals, but I'm not really sure what I should do to finish my undergrad studies and then what to go to graduate school for.

I think a book of photos of the animals you are housing and short texts about their personalities would be amazing.
Happy story with a happy ending!
No way, Moorpark College? I went there as of just last year! =D
How did you like it there?
Hi Jesse. I was asking that can you find animals like arctic foxes even in a different environment like montana. Also that you are an inspiration for different people who like animals

Respect. A thousand likes.
Inspirational :)
Love this! ♡

I'm not sure exactly since I haven't traveled that path myself. My best advice would be to get some practical experience by volunteering or getting an internship at a facility that works with animals so you can beef up your resume. Good luck!
Thank you so much for replying. So I don't need to get a degree/licence on Veterinary Medicine?

Thank you! Those ideas are perfect :)
I always love a good cause!
Was I the only one who couldhear Ecuador in the background?

This is what i call humanity
Does Animal Wonders adopt out animals? Or is Animal Wonders their permanent home?

You have to wake up early, do you not?
Well, you need to care for the talent first and foremost. And that is Kemosabe.
8:05 So how did you fare decapitating these at Moorpark?
2:40 "this type of organization is basically unheard of in Montana.... "
Had to teach the natives not to eat the animal ambassadors
