Schwinn Typhoon mid high handle bars with crossbar brazed on it Troxel seat Heavy gauge spokes i believe it was 20 gauge though not 10 gauge in the early 70s . It was the SW Florida distance wheelie machine and surf board hauler . We were on the other coast visiting .When BMX first started me and a buddy went to watch on practice day asked it we could run the track they said you have to have safety gear all we had was our motocross gear it was in the low 90s because we also brought our dirt bikes with us so they let us ride . after two motos sponsored riders starting protesting because we were smoking everyone so they pulled us off because of our typhoons my buddies was a 24inch and mine was a 26inch . If you see old florida videos thats what the boys were jumping and riding .
