AND.... for those of you who have never shoveled a roof, if the snow is the heavy 'damp or wet' kind, when it hits the ground and porches & stairs, it turns into rock hard cement. so be prepared to have twice as much fun...
One more thing, with the price of food these days, more and more people are starting gardens. A door in the kitchen is a very definite plus. No one wants to run the length of the house to snip a few herbs!
Only thing I change is the fireplace into a gas instead of wood. Seniors may have a problem hauling wood. Been there done that when I was younger. It's a full time job. Otherwise great 🎉
I don't care to have the washer and dryer out in the open. The washer and dryer should be enclosed in a bathroom so u don't hear it when doing laundry!

Builder should have sprung for a designer: different wood tones all over & the tile breaking up a space with limited sq. footage...... could have been so much nicer. Quality materials but falls short of what it could be. Big wrap-around porch is nice, tho.

No utility room? I see no stairway for a basement and, yet there is no place for a furnace/hot water heater. You might as well buy a tent. This is wildly impractical.

Bath is small but remember so is home. That's what sz u get
I agree w storage. Most hones I look at in plan form NEVER have storage...
The counter where eating area sits is nothing but a hip killer and would be difficult to clean by 2 areas meeting
If you watch it again you will see the washer and dryer at the 4:00 - 4:05 minute mark and again at 6:40 - 6:44.
