Spot on, I respect Sia so much for not giving this opportunity to a blonde marketable basic bitch who can do nothing by herself and only obeys the people who profit from her, instead Sia chose an independent artist with strong visuals and a strong message, and who isn't afraid to speak her mind. But the music industry for females is sadly a dark place, it's ran by males who surround themselves with beta-bitch singers, and you have to become one in order to get a shot in the big game. Looking at the charts, all female artists who are on the top are tools, there is always money to be made by the record companies, and most major mainstream female artists are objects who rely on their daddy who has contacts to get ahead. There are many tragic examples of how singers said no to being a tool, and then their careers flopping due to the industry turning in on them, and not giving them opportunities anymore. The biggest example in my opinion is Lady Gaga, she herself has said that during 2008-2011 she was nothing but a brand and a tool to her record company, but in 2012 she realized that there's more to being an artist than taking selfies, and she started saying no to unfair deals. The rest is history, she hasn't had one major hit since Applause in 2013, and her last #1 is from 2011. The last thing I want Brooke to do is become a beta-bitch and start kissing record company daddies asses to get ahead like all popular mainstream female singers currently, I really hope that she won't do it, and will instead keep doing what she wants even if it doesn't give her a big break. She said her reason for changing sound was due in part to her becoming healthier and to reach a wider fan base. She didn't sell out.
