Costa just loved this TED talk of yours, so thrilled that you appreciate growing plants and how they are the fertility of our soils through photosynthesis. Oh and yes lawn is killing the world not grass, grass can save the world.

I was looking around at your howard park meeting for someone I know. There was no one I saw that looked like eighty years old. I was raised in Fairfield. My dad was a truck driver for Watson Brothers which was on the west side of town . My uncle was at police officer in town. I look up Fairfield once in a while just to visit home. I haven't been there since I was 19 years old. Progress is a wonderful thing. I do like to visit the past. I went to Lincoln grade school. There were some thrilling ballgames on the southwest corner of the school grounds. The kids didn't even have uniforms.

We can easily grow about 144 Oak trees per acre (tree every 5 meters, which is a lot of space, even.) Each tree, after maturity, can produce from hundreds to thousands of acorns a year. Acorns are easy for preparation for eating and are very nutritious. Many cultures used and use acorns as staple food or part of their staple food. :) Each acorn has between 50 to 100 calories, which is lots of fat and some vitamins. Generally, this crop can wield several KG of staple, a day.

Dustin Marsau ....Okanagan region, BC, Canada.... an acre in the ALR.... 400 fed is a one man, no tractor job.
