Mahalo for watching! Need to finish your Hawaii vacation planning? Check out our Oahu itineraries for ways to save, when to make reservations, where to stay, and a step-by-step pre-travel testing video: thehawaiivacationguide.com/oahu/
We like maps as that is my first thing I want to know, how to get around. Waikiki isn't for everyone but we also enjoy the action, central location, and selection of hotels
It's weird after having done months of research for our trip, to watch your videos after we got back (this morning) and say "wow, we were just there yesterday!" Great video guys
Was just there when you were. We stayed at the Princess Sheraton, great spot and price point in Waikiki. Northshore was wet and muddy from heavy rain, however the sun was out and turtle bay was amazing. Snorkeling was great! The Polynesian culture center is a must when on the north shore!
I love watching your videos- such a great resource- and I am tempted to purchase your Oahu itinerary if we go to Oahu. We are a family with a wide range of ages of kids. Would you say we can figure out how to have a great time whichever hotel destination we choose? Or is one place better than another? Waikiki sound fun and exciting and so many things accessible but maybe only for the older kids? Do you have a video which discusses this topic?
Thanks for asking. We have a lot of articles and videos on where to stay. Start with this one: thehawaiivacationguide.com/which-part-of-oahu-should-you-stay/ You can't go wrong where you stay. Waikiki has the most for kids to do. Ko Olina is an excellent beach vacation for the family.
You have the best tips, and give the most accurate descriptions of the islands. I’m gonna have to get one of your itineraries for the next trip. Aloha!
We are going to Oahu for fall break, staying in Waikiki for a couple of days and then Ko Olina at the Aulani Disney for the rest of the week. Love your channel. Keep making amazing content!
We have a video coming out in April on that! Oahu is one island you don't need a rental car if staying in Waikiki. There is Uber, Hui car share, and bus to get around. If you plan to do one or two days out of Honolulu then rent a car for the day and return the same day to avoid the night parking charge ($30. - $45).
Lived in Oahu off and on for three years (work related) Pearl Harbor first then Waikiki at Ali Wai Blvd and Olhana st. it was nice but was very glad to return to the mainland. Very expensive.
My friend with low means made that end around move and he came back for a couple weeks loved it he said people were so desperate they would steal fruit from the graveyards from the Buddhist shrines
Waikiki/Honolulu. Waikiki is where most visitors to Oahu stay, and for good reasons. North Shore. Oahu's fabled North Shore is known for the huge waves that draw surfers from all over the world, a more laid-back vibe, and local shops and farms
Love your channel! Looking to stay for a month in a hawaii, but need to make sure WiFi is readily avaiable and high speed. Any recommendations? Oahu? Maui?
It can be overwhelming at first. We have a full website to help with your planning and a bunch of itineraries, see our Shop for the best Oahu itinerary: thehawaiivacationguide.com/
Lovely video! We do split stays on Oahu. Usually 2-4 weeks at Aulani (with Disney Vacation Club points), then a week or two on Waikiki at the Outrigger Wakiki. Rent a car at the airport when we arrive.
How do you afford to stay there so long? Do you already live in Hawaii? I would not be able to stay that long because of work unless I bring work with me.
I love all of the videos you guys post. What equipment and software do you use to take and edit your film? You guys take a lot of dynamic footage from land, water, and air. Amazing job!
What do you think of spending a couple days on the windward side ( Paradise Bay resort in Kaneohe)? We’re doing several days near diamond head and want to do three days on another spot in the island
Been going to Waikiki since the 80s I would say the Austin Waikiki hotel on Kalakaua near the zoo near the park near the aquarium easy exit out of town
We are interested in the Waikiki Outrigger resort we want a resort that is on the beach. Do you recommend that resort? We are in our 60's but active and don't want to rent a car.
Waikiki Outrigger is a good choice, it is a reliable place to stay for the price and location. Across the street is the Beachcomber, also by Outrigger. We give a tour here: ruclips.net/video/byKrpWPijyM/видео.html
Bars opened last month and can serve till midnight. There are capacity limits for safety. Waikiki nightlife isn't back to 2019 levels but there are things to do after the sun goes down. Stay safe.
i love this channel! you're such an adorable family, and seem to give great advice for all different types of visitors. trying really hard to come to hawaii for my first time in september, and your videos just get me so excited!
Waikiki doesn't have traffic. Honolulu gets bad traffics on the freeways. Avoid rush hour times and leave extra time to get on the freeways from Waikiki.
What about downtown Waikiki and the vice the streetwalkers and all that how did how do you handle that I'm from the sticks and but I got to get out of here man you know it's like my head is like about ready to explode I got to go one day bucket list it's going to happen

Going to Hawaii for the first time at the end of June and I can't stop watching these videos!
Thanks so much for giving a visual breakdown of the entire island! Thanks to you, I now know without a doubt that busy Waikiki is the place for me! 🙂
We like maps as that is my first thing I want to know, how to get around. Waikiki isn't for everyone but we also enjoy the action, central location, and selection of hotels
this was really informational!
Could you do a video about Hui rental car service? Would love to see the process in action and a review of the car!
good idea, we will put it on our list!
I am going to Oahu at the start of April! Thank you so much for these helpful videos. They help me so much!
see ya there!
Lots of great info. I would add that even if you don't stay at Alauni or Turtle Bay, stop and visit these places. They are spectacular!
good tip, thanks for sharing!
Ko Olina is definitely sunnier. I left waikiki in the rain, went to ko olina and it was sunny, then went to north shore and it was raining.
Going on a 3 month work trip. Most likely staying in Ko Olina but looking forward to traveling while I am there. Nice information 👍🏼

GREAT VIDEO! We’ll be shopping on Waikiki for sure. Just do a day trip and head back to Maui
Will be back to Oahu in May! Staying at the Sheraton waikiki
What are your reviews on the Sheraton?

That sounds like a great trip and a good way to do Oahu! Have a great vacation. More Oahu videos coming out this month and April.

Hi I’m going there in June and Me and my girlfriend are going to do activities should we pay for it before we go or pay there
We recommend booking far in advance to get the date and times you want. Most require to pay at booking or a deposit, it depends on the tour operator.
Love the content guys!

all the islands have great wifi, just confirm with your vacation rental. internet isn't a problem on Maui or Oahu.
We are going the end of May and really have no idea of where to stay or thing to do.

Sheraton is great and close to Waikiki. Love the night life and food and beach

@@Momosaymkay We're retired! We use DVC points at Aulani so no out-of-pocket there. We live in Florida.
Darlene Harmon living the dream it sounds like! I hope my retirement is the same.
@@Momosaymkay Thanks. We love and respect Hawaii. I have read all I can find on its history and love to visit their historic and cultural sites.

amazing videos! We've been to Aulani in the past. Are there any major changes with COVID precautions?
No but call them to confirm what restaurants are open and the kid club.
What do you think of spending a couple days on the windward side ( Paradise Bay resort in Kaneohe)? We’re doing several days near diamond head and want to do three days on another spot in the island
we love the windward side and it would be a good launchpad to other parts of the island.
Been going to Waikiki since the 80s I would say the Austin Waikiki hotel on Kalakaua near the zoo near the park near the aquarium easy exit out of town
While grabbing a malasada

Awesome content
Uvek lepi havaji waikiki ok video🙋♀️🇷🇸
Any night life open/happening right now?
bars are now open as of a few weeks ago. Most places have live music again.

What about a resort fun for singles

in the intro where that beach was I’ve been there
Erica is standing on Lagoon 3 at Ko Olina Resorts. The other beach with the outrigger canoe is waikiki.
Ive got a Hawaii video too if you'd like to check out!
You give off mila kunis vibes. Forgetting Sarah Marshal.
I'll take that!
