I love how classical this sonata is! The first movement quotes Beethoven's Pathetique. 7:06 is rather impressionistic, the part from 7:57 - 8:05 could be by Schubert, then 8:05 - 8:55 begins like Chopin and develops in a very romantic way, sometimes "interrupted" by 7b5 harmonies (which I love). Finally, the last movement is full Jazz again, a Cuban theme, Bebop, and a Stride finale
One of His most underrated sonatas ever
In my personal opinion, one of his best sonatas. What a fantastic ending!
He is an AMAZING composer. WOW!!!!
