In India most people choose Computer science or engineering, these are wrong fields for AI expertise. Most AI research is done by mathematicians or theoretical computer science PhD.

ఇందులో పెద్దనోట్ల రద్దు అని అలా భావించాలి.. ?బడా బాబులకు చిన్న పెట్టెలో పెద్ద ఆదాయం ఉండేలా వెసులుబాటు చేసారు కాదా....?
2) GST తో మునుపతికంటే అధిక ఆదాయం ప్రభుత్వానికి వస్తుందనేగా GST ఆమోదం తెలిపింది మరి ఆ అధిక ఆదాయం ఎటుపోతుంది...?అసలు GST లేని ఆదాయం కంటే ఇప్పుడు GST తో ఎంత అధికంగా వచ్చింది...?

Why India never produced excellent social networking platforms like Google, FB, Twitter, Tiktok, etc. Many believe it’s due to lack of Innovation, R&D into Artificial intelligence, stiff competition from global tech companies & lack of Indians patriotism towards local products.
Indian Start-up companies had developed similar products to Tiktok & Helo in less than a month's time. UPI is an innovation of India, which is the first of its kind globally. The Indian companies generated completely AI-driven products in Ecomm, OTT, Travel, Gaming, Entertainments & Banking sector in the last 10 years. India had produced many big tech giants like TCS, Infosys in the last few decades who compete with global tech-giants in operating revenues. Indian has always preferred to choose their own countries product if the local products withstand competitors in terms of quality.
India is not failing in Innovation, R&D, competition & consumption of local products.
As per my view, there are two core factors, which led Indian companies of not having a strong foothold in this domain:
Lack of sufficient advertising revenues in India:

Google Net Profit in India for FY19 - INR 473 crore with 397 million audience
FB Net Profit in India for FY19 - INR 105 Crore with 384 million audience
Bytedance Net Profit in India FY19 - INR 3.4 crore with 211 million Audience
Twitter Net Profit in India for FY19 - INR 5.8 crore 111 million audience
LinkedIn Net profit in India FY18 - INR 38 crore with 93 million audience
The majority of big giants struggle to generate even 100 crores net-profit even after possessing millions of audience & years of presence in the Indian Market. The giants are only working towards creating eco-systems around the databases to generate revenue from other avenues, as ad revenues are negligible in India.
When it comes to Indian startup’s it became impossible to operate in this low revenue business, which led to the closure of any similar products that they had developed. When it comes to big Indian tech-giants, the revenues are not encouraging for them to step into this domain.
Eg; Paytm started to operate as an Adnetwork in early days & it was forced to move out of it due to lack of ad revenues
Delayed Payment cycles in India:
Except for the big giants like Google & FB, the rest of the end vendors in Digital receives the payment after 150 to 200 days of delivery on average. The delayed payment cycles are in par with MSMEs of 210 days in India. The majority of companies in the digital eco-systems from Brands, Agencies & Ad networks lack the ethical responsibilities when it comes to clearance of payments. The delayed payment cycles never permitted the small end vendors to sustain in this already low revenue business.
Only a company, which succeeds financially in-home conditions, gets the flexibility to cater to global markets. Indian made global social networking platform is going to remain as a dream for Indians for at least the next one more decade looking at the current scenario

Sir, its hard to beat China in AI because China is very close to USA and maybe surpass USA this year itself. All those who read scientific journals in AI will atleast see one chinese name in the paper. So its hard but not impossible. AI is reaching its supreme stage which means the logic is getting more efficient with the current infrastructure technology. Only few cases will be left where more computing power is required just like np hard algorithms like travelling salesman problem. So thats where quantum computing is promising because it raises the infrastructure capability so that these algorithms would efficiently run. That's the thing
