how do you convert a conventional device to addressable? Is there any benefits to converting initiating devices on a conventional panel to addressable?? why not just wire them conventional?
Conventional panels can't accommodate addressable devices. However, if you're wanting to use a conventional device on an addressable system, you can use a monitor module.

If a panel is conventional, you can't use addressable devices on it.
