Best Distillery Tour/ Dueling Grounds Distillery/Kentucky Craft Bourbon Trail

I stopped at another Harvest Host, the Dueling Grounds Distillery in Franklin Ky. Had a great tasting, and and even better tour of the distillery. We walked though the small distillery and were right there with all the equipment, this wasn't the "see it through the glass window " tour. It was immersion in the art of distillery. We saw the still, the fermenting vats, and how they bottle their Bourbon and spirits... 4 bottles at a time. Plus our guide gave some of the best information on the entire process including the gimmick names placed on some of the Big Boys bottles. Great tour, great stay. Remember, you must be a Harvest Host member to stay at these locations, and you must show your membership upon check in.

You can't go wrong in a distillery. That food looked good now go get drunk. lol The way you drink though your new nickname is "Sip". lol I like their plan of wheat as well. I like it sweeter like me. lol I love the smell of cooking off. It's great. I like and agree with his breakdown on good drink. Very cool man. You are correct this was a great tour.

Lol, their base bottle was a little out of my range, I got Vanilla Bourbon syrup and strawberry liqueur that they make. hopefully stopped at a couple distillerys on way back

Methanol is "not going to kill you or anything, but you'll get a bad headache." Is this true? Methanol consumption has got to have the most contradicting information on the internet 😂
