I feel like Glynn Morgan is the ultimate singer for Threshold. He blends into the sound like Mac but maintains an emotional tone like Damian. The best of both, all in one
Any band should feel proud to have being presented with three amazing vocalists. And the best in that is the three of them are clearly different. Damian Wilson hearing him in another projects aswell is the one who can achieve more different performances, more power, more slow evolution. Big Mac for me was the one with better symbiose with the band's sound, is voice could attach really well to the sound of the instruments. And he put also a lot of emotion in it al Glynn Morgan is for me the power of them, he has power and Strength in his voice that none of th two others can achieve. This album Psychedelicatessen makes me remember a progressive album more in the way of the power metal, strong, with emotion I adore all Threshold Albums, the day when I can get to see them live would be amazing. Want to see is next album is as good as the previous ones
Welcome back, Glynn!! After listening to the amazing new album, I think it's high time I revisit Psychedelicatessen! Actually, the first 3 albums in particular. And I really enjoyed this song too. Hard to imagine looking at this band without Johannes James though, lol.
I don't see how this wasn't more popular. Make this guy do 12 tracks that sound exactly like this and get some airtime. What a shame things didn't work out, i feel like we lost the potential for some really great music in the band member combination, not to say they didn't go on to make good things, i just wish i could have heard an alternate reality version.
Alternative is the Keyword: in the days Grunge and others ruled so this would have been understood as "Hair metal", though this could not stop Dream Theater
For me the Glynn Morgan era of the band is the best. I like his voice over the other 2 singers, and that's saying alot. And the songs from this CD are the finest they've done. The liner notes from their best of 'Ravages of Time' say the band was at it's peak with 'Hypothetical' - I respectfully disagree. Did Glynn sing for the NWOBHM band Crucifixion that released a single on Neat Records? It's the same name give or take the letter 'n' in the first name.
I find on a website that he will be a guest singer for the new single of the band "League of Lights" , the single is scheduled to be out tomorrow (july 9th)
@howdyfeller Disagree with your opinion that they sound similar. They're both gritty, sure, but I find that Glynns voice has a certain desperation or emotional rawness/intensity in it that Mac lacked. Glynns effort on Psychedelicatessen is one of my absolute favourites, though of course Mac was a great vocalist as well.
I think Threshold should consider having 2 lead singers (i know, i want 3 too, R.I.P. Mac): Damian Wilson and Glynn Morgan. It would be the best band ever.
Lyrics: Picture time as before where you slept through it all They believe you were there why deny what i said? Vicious lies being heard you stand there how absurd And with hate in your mind convict me Take my life away or give back the answer you hold And stand unashamed of what you have done Don't just walk away unlock the chains from your heart Prove my innocence cause i did no wrong Empty words lies from the start? we stood strong never apart Had it all in our hands we had it all, yes you and me Now the tables have turned all i gave you return Makes it hard to believe what you've done to me Don't call me your friend, won't you understand I don't need Take my life away or give back the answer you hold And stand unashamed of what you have done Don't just walk away unlock the chains from your heart Prove my innocence cause i did no wrong Take my life away or give back the answer you hold And stand unashamed of what you have done Don't just walk away unlock the chains from your heart Prove my innocence cause i did no wrong

I know of Mindfeed only. It would be nice to get him back to music business, just as John Arch gifted us with a wonderful solo EP, and Charlie Dominici's band is also great
He's back this year with the band as the band has parted ways with Damian Wilson. I think this is great news as I think Glynn will be able to better perform the songs sung by Mac. Although I will say that the past two releases with Damian, especially 'March of Progress' were excellent. I consider 'March of Progress' to be one of their best and that's saying something since I always thought Mac had the better voice suited to the music of the band. New album is being recorded now and will be released this year.
Yes definitely March of Progress was on a par with Dead Reckoning and blew me away. For the Journey paled in comparison. Glynn is close to Mac in vocal style so looking forward to new album!
Why is this band not more popular !!!!!!!!!!!
It's intelektual metal. I like it.
cause they suck a great deal. horrendous pop melodic vocals with synth and shitty guitar sound. wtf is this????
I feel like Glynn Morgan is the ultimate singer for Threshold. He blends into the sound like Mac but maintains an emotional tone like Damian. The best of both, all in one
I still listen to this band 🤘🏾😎
So, welcome the new-old vocalist!
Glynn Morgan is really a great singer and fit very well with Threshold band.
he's back
Mr Wilson for me 🇬🇧

The best of the best of Progressive Metal
So, he's back in Threshold. Looking forward to the next album.
same man.. i was so happy when I saw
Psychedelicatessen and Clone are Threshold's two best albums. "Change" my mind (pun completely intended)
Exctint enctint-1986 👍👍👍
welcome back Glynn
An amazing song , timeless 😀
Охрененная композиция! 🎆
Просто группа охрененная, моя любимая...🤘😁
His voice is much more closer to Mac's voice than Damian's voice was. I'm really curious how will the new album sound.
As a latecommer to Threshold, this could easily be on one of their latest albums.

Yes, i just can agree! Glynn has a great voice. I just can recommend the Mindfeed CDs!!
And he really did some other cds??
Mindfeed CDs are good 🇬🇧🤘
one of the best Threshold songs. Respect from Istanbul, Turkiye.
And btw , the dual Jacksons are just KILLER omg, that sound is fuckin PERFECT. We want back the 2nd guitar :P

Best Threshold's video
@robin7kurdo yes, he is. when Mac left the band, he (as well as Damian) offered to join Threshold for their Dead Reckoning tour.
I find on a website that he will be a guest singer for the new single of the band "League of Lights" , the single is scheduled to be out tomorrow (july 9th)
Great longevity and output from this band.
One of my favourite songs of all time
Pure quality !!
@howdyfeller

Take my life away or give back the answer you hold

Empty words lies from the start? we stood strong never apart
Had it all in our hands we had it all, yes you and me
Now the tables have turned all i gave you return
Makes it hard to believe what you've done to me
Don't call me your friend, won't you understand I don't need
Take my life away or give back the answer you hold
And stand unashamed of what you have done
Don't just walk away unlock the chains from your heart

Gene Hoglan is pretty tame on this song. Dark Fucking Angel!
I can't find anything on Glynn Morgan if he's still rocking out or what.
I know of Mindfeed only. It would be nice to get him back to music business, just as John Arch gifted us with a wonderful solo EP, and Charlie Dominici's band is also great
2023, he's back on Threshold
Tour US soon.
I do thin'k there is to many who has miss this group ,
The guy's dead ?! :( bloody hell just got into them.
RIP from Australia \m/
Wyldchild666 He isnt dead, but Mac is..
Good track and album, even though I rate 'Wounded Land' ('93) a bit better
I agree. I think music was better on debut album, with a touch of Black Sabbath in the sound they lost in the following albums
AAAAWWWWSOME!!!
🤟🤠🌟

@iriseterna yep , me 2 :)
Det här är som när det är som bäst....
Right on buddy. Flip that goddamned table. If only you had done it right. We would not be in this fucking mess.
Where is Glynn Morgan now? Is he alive?
The version he recorded with Mindfeed is far, far better
Okay so his resolution was good enough for him to conversely walk away. Depends on yaur priorities I suppose.
Lol. Caw Fee Girl re TurnZ the Git' R. Lommmmffffffffl. (snap)
