Nice job! I was cutting grass one day & pretty much same problem! Ran over some branches didn’t think much of them kept riding…. Until zero turn quit moving!
The small limbs pushed the drive belt right off one of the pulley!!
I picked up a few limbs before I started cutting!!
The ones I thought I could cut got at jus the right angle to ruin my day!

@ Orlando Johnson yea I've cut other branches no problem, but just a stubborn branch knocked drive right out and it wasn't even big🤦🏻‍♂️. thanks for your feed back 😁

Nice!! I put that spring back on before but I used a weed eater line to do it when I replaced the belts.
I used this video to see the location of the clutch return spring the one that goes to the back 👍

I have a Huskee lt 3800 that won’t go forward or reverse. Im go see if i have any springs loose

    • @DIYRAYMOND
      @DIYRAYMOND  2 года назад +2

@Gulf coast Mex, if the spring is good, it could be 1 of your belts. But if a belr broke, then you definitely would've known that. But yes if the spring comes loose or pops out you wouldn't know that until you inspect your mower.
Hopefully you're able to get your mower going.

Is this a common thing on these Huskees?...I have the same mower and when I parked it yesterday it would shift fine forward and backwards...went to move it a minute ago and when I put it in forward nothing ..reverse nothing..haven’t took it apart yet but I can see drive belt and it’s tight and intact..so fingers crossed it’s just the spring...thanks ...any info would be helpful

@ Stephen Pickron, I wouldn't say it's a common problem on Huskee, I had mine for like 2 yrs with no issues. Then this happened. But I think it was more so my fault. I was running over sticks and branches. And I had a stick lodge in the area where the spring was and it just came off.
Thanks for watching and I hope you got your mower back going.

When that spring went did the belt at the PTO heat up and smoke a bit?
I will look for that spring and hope it isn't a bearing.

@ David Scott, no nothing out of the ordinary happened other than not moving forward or backwards.

Mine just broke and I ordered new ones for the entire mower
    Very very rusty springs

@phillip Hall, hopefully you get it back going before the next mowing season. I hate when I have to work on mine during the continuous grass cutting season. I'd rather do it during the off season..... That way I can kinda procrastinate 😀🤦🏻‍♂️.
