  • A ferris wheel has a radius of 5.4 meters and rotates with a constant velocity such that it takes 42 seconds to complete one revolution. A person has a mass of 74 kg and sits in a chair at the edge of the wheel. What is the person’s apparent weight at positon A, B and C as shown in the diagram.
