Hey all! Seeing a few comments about the path blocks being removed so wanted to explain my reasoning further here --
Unfortunately there is no way to really detail on top of path blocks, grass / flowers / leaves / etc. cannot be placed on them, which means once the terrain would be built out it would be almost completely bare without any details.. and anything I would add in would destroy the path blocks. So in order to make something more detailed later on and have more options available to work with, I decided to turn it all into grass blocks. We'll revisit the idea again in the future :)

Hey fWhip. Awesome job as usual. As I'm watching the video and looking at the mountain, I completely understand and agree with your decision to turn the path blocks to grass, but I'm thinking that it also makes it like the other mountains you've built. I've been around you channel since episode one of Building with fWhip, so I've seen you build tons of mountains, and many are very similar (which is totally fine, no hate--they look awesome and I know you like to base them off the mountains around your home). You've changed the shape of the mountains in this series to make them more fantastical and unique from your previous mountains, and as I was watching I was thinking that it would look cool to make a structure similar to "Natural Bridge" in Kentucky. I don't remember you ever making a structure like it, and it seems like something you'd enjoy. Of course up to your judgement, you're the expert. It may not fit well in this project, but it's an idea for the future maybe. Great video!

I'm bummed to change it out, but it would be so limiting on what we can actually do since I can't put any grass or foliage anything on top of it so the terrain would have to be nearly completely bare

Hey, fwip, I think it would be very cool if you added a glacier between some peaks of the mountain. All of the mountains seem to be very eroded, so it would make a lot of sense that there would be snow that would accumulate in the shadows.

I'm loving the terraforming, and it would also be great to hear your reasoning for certain formations. Was there anything in real life the inspired you to make round out a hill or make an erosion channel in a certain place? Maybe even include some pictures of formations. I think it would be really engaging to understand the thought process of the artist!

He could use lava as a way to systematically light up/clear the areas underneath the build. The lava will flow/light up a large area and burn any mobs in the way. It takes a while for the lava to dissipate once the source is removed, which is good to place torches as well. You could also take a fire resist and place lanterns or glow stone/frog lights down in the lava too before you even remove it
