dude i still stand by a lot of the things little Billie said till this day. and i’m 19. she was so real and had such a deep, unique, beautiful perception and understanding of the world and life, even if she didn’t feel like it at the time, cause i don’t think anyone feels like they understand anything as a teen. but she changed my life. im only 3 years younger than her so at the time i was also a really really young teen. and i was going through some dark shit. i did not wanna be here anymore. i was very stubborn and pessimistic and always had been. and then through her music, Billie came into my life and she truly changed my life, my perspective on the world and my views forever, for the better. it felt like she just grabbed my hand and said “okay we’re in this together now. let’s go.” and she walked with me out of that dark place and now we’re both older and both have improved our mental health a lot. till this day i think of a lot of things she said when she was younger and i live by them. nothing matters between life and death. live in the moment. the world has a lot of opinions and views but none of it really matters, we all die anyways. live right now. love hard. be loyal.
