Loved this video. Although I am a computer tech I decided to use a you tube video to see how simple or not it was to set up. Your video was outstanding and simple to follow and before I knew it I had completely assembled it... thanx for making this video so easy to follow and so complete
Glad it was a help! That's always the goal in the end to make it simple and easy for those of us that prefer visual aid as opposed to written instructions!
I can tell you enjoyed putting that together and you did a tidy job!
Thanks!
I love my 4GB RP4, but of course what I REALLY want is something like four of the 8GB RP4 put together into a custom case and make a computer/emulation machine I did myself lol. I even have one 8gb Pi for the sole purpose of integrating it into the, well more like an SUV, or wagon depending on who you ask lol. I'm working on some software that will Allow full engine management and performance tuning (aka like a MegaSquirt or HonData aftermarket ECU,) only it will also be what's running my music and other in car media, and my favorite part is it'll allow me to instead of using a normal Guage cluster (speedometer, tachometer etc) I can use a custom screen bought from anywhere to make a fully customizable digital Guage cluster and if I ever finish making the new LED tail light boards the in car Pi will also allow me to have and choose from many different "patterns or shapes and go anywhere from stars or circles or spell out words using tail lights stuffed with a custom board with many, Mlop. tiny LED lights, did I mention there's a lot of them? lol down to it looking like a factory tail light. This is all for my '00 Subaru Forester L with an 3.3ltr H6 that's been built and boosted swapped into her. Just taking my time doing a custom full chassis wiring harness blah blah blah. Weed, Subaru & Raspberry Pi... That's the good life lol.
That sounds awesome dude! I want to see when it's done!!
I've been hunting for a great little case fan combo for my RGB-Pi O/S setup, and this looks perfect because I need access to the GPIO pins without losing a plug and play fan. I only wished I found this sooner! Subb'ed :)
Thanks! Yeah it's a really great case. You could look at the argon cases too.
@@RetroGamingGuy would an Ice Tower fit in here?
edit: yup, just found a review stating that it does 🙂
Started with an Argon. Sweet daughter board to connect micro hdmi to normal size. However it was screaming loud all the time. Switched to one of these electrocookie cases today. It was whining too, until I took it apart and reversed the fan direction. Now it looks cool and is much quieter (but not as cool running) as the Argon.
i was lost cause i am installing the ice cooler to it and it throws it off a bit but u got my brain going thanks
That's really sweet, its on my radar now for sure!
Definitely well made and looks very cool!
How can we adjust fan speed based on temperature? I mean I know we can adjust if we connect it to one of the gpio pins, but here it looks like its using dedicated pins. for me it is running constantly forever and its been an issue.
Is there a company homepage??? Curious if there is any software to control the fan and RGB lights...
The fan is backwards. For anyone watching, install it with the coils visible through the case, not the sticker.
Glad I wasn't the only one to notice that.
Is there a way to control fan speed, because they get pretty loud? And if there's a way, how do i do that?
What games can you play on it and what kind of cords do you need for it?
Now I just need to find a RPi4. There isn't one to be found for retail pricing right now.
Awful shortage right now that we are going to be seeing for a while. I just did this video addressing this shortage.

Shortage is easing up, some vendors even let you get more than one.
Great upload, thanks for the quality content! 👍🏾👊🏾
Dumb question can is the pi camera compatible with this case?
Hey there I'm not familiar with the pi camera at all so I really couldn't say
The fan seems rather noisy ?
It's backwards.
Giggity
Damn, that fan is LOUD
It's backwards. Ask me how I know.
@@afrosheenix Mine is too but I don't see a way to make it face the other way and hold it in place
can you mine bitcoins on this raspberry
It wouldn’t be worth it bitcoin and ether are the most popular coins meaning more competition people have powerhouse coumputers dedicated to mining bitcoin and or ether . This wouldn’t stand the slightest chance of adding a block to the block chain by itself
It's decent for staking chia with big drives attached.
When I build these cases or ice towers it takes a FEW MINUTES.On RUclips it takes forever and is complicated. Its fiddly and slow going.
Bozo.
Lost!!! What is this used for???
